    I definitely like bright colors on the nails, but when you applied the neon pigments, I thought "uh, that's a bit too much for me". But then the transformation into stars with a gradient turned out to be absolutely beautiful. A great idea, I like it very much!

    A hair under lifting of a hair dresser 😮 like dust and glitter for nail techs. Makes its way into the strangest of places 😄. Hopes she can make it in sooner so she doesn’t cause herself a real problem from waiting too long. Beautiful design and you always take pride in your work which is very specific for each client and the results are always the proof. Lovely as always 👏👏💅😍🙇‍♀️

    Carrot shaped nails is a real problem for me. I always struggle with shaping so if my nails grow out I cut them off/start off with new tips vs trying to change the shape and getting nails that look ok from the top down view and look like carrots from the side. Would you consider maybe a video with how tos nail filing for different shapes for hands with this kind of nail beds?

    If possible, please elaborate on why you chose to buff down the dead cuticles instead of clipping them off. Also, I’ve never heard of fiberglass gel, and more on that would be very helpful. Thank you so much for your videos and sharing your knowledge!❤

    I was thinking about actually getting my nails done but this looks painful and very damaging to my nails! 💅🏻

    • @cosmicmuffin322
      @cosmicmuffin322 2 года назад

      It is! Russian manicures, also called machine or efile manicures, are very harmful to your nails. It can cause inflammation or even infection in the cuticle since the cuticle is the way the body protects itself from infection. When they remove the cuticle like this, it's damaging and unnecessary. Don't ever let a nail tech touch your cuticles with an efile! They should push back the cuticle gently, and if necessary use cuticle nippers only, and sparingly.

    • @panajotov
      @panajotov Год назад +3

      First thing you need to know: nothing should make discomfort nor hurt when having gel polish/gel/or any other medium done. A good nail technician works very gently and carefully. At least they should. If you ever decide to do your manicure, you can always try finding someone who won't use the drill. During my first year of having professionally done manicures, my technician was using only regular nail file - I was scared of the drills. Now, I use the drill on myself! If you have a lot of dead skin, it's up to you to take care of your nails and hands. But be aware that any cuticles on your nail plate will cause liftings. And those are time and money waste, and potential breeding grounds for germs.
      I've been doing my nails for three years by myself, and many years prior to that in a salon. My nails are always in good shape. Sometimes I just don't have time, or want to keep them natural. There's absolutely nothing wrong with my nails, they are the same as they were before. Also, the longest natural nails I've ever managed to grow were by using soft gel/gel polish to maintain them until they were long and strong enough. Otherwise I just break them. Not to mention that gel just looks much better than any regular nail polish, and stays like that for weeks (depending how fast your nails grow, really).
      A well-done manicure won't make any damage. Just follow the advice, and remove/refill on time.

    • @marielanders4806
      @marielanders4806 Год назад +2

      Everything she did was gentle and didn't harm her client nor her natural nails. She explained that in the video. She also has other videos that explain this as well. You could educate yourself more as well on what a Russian Manicure is and go from there. Also you don't have to get your cuticle cut and what not either. As long as you push back the cuticle and get all of the sticky dead cuticle off of your natural nails, remove the shine (lightly buff your nail as to not remove layers of your natural nail), dehydrate your nails, and use primer you won't have much or any lifting. Unless you get product (acrylic, hard gel, soft gel, polygel, etc.) on your skin when applying it you'll have lifting that way. Anyway I hope that helps.

    • @polished_and_ready
      @polished_and_ready 2 года назад

      Those are makeup powders. The way she used it was by applying the powder to the white gel polish and then applied clear gel color to create the stars. Once the stars were cure she cleaned it with alcohol solution to clean them up. I hope this explanation helps!

    • @marielanders4806
      @marielanders4806 Год назад

      She cured the white gel polish first, then applied the powders, used a clear top coat gel to make the stars and cured it, and then wiped off the nails with isopropyl alcohol. She explained that in the video. Hope that helps.

    Why doesn't your client know to atleast file the nails down if she can't make it back for a fill after a couple weeks? Like that length was really long and that must've hurt ma y times and all she had to do was file them down a bit.
    Edit: She should know this if she's been getting her nails done for a while now.
