What a pleasant surprise! I am volunteering as a history docent at Changdeok palace once a month on Sundays. I’m actually in the bus passing Gangnam station as I’m writing this comment. I hope to see you guys on the palace grounds one of these days.
WOW! What an amazing opportunity. When I saw that LG was sponsoring you, I thought you were getting some new household appliances. Another channel I follow earlier released a video sponsored by LG and featuring their beautiful air con tower.
It was such a cool opportunity! LG is huge here and they cover a lot of different areas. Love how they’re also involved in cultural preservation in this way :)
Bonus video in the middle of the week??? Yes! How cool to enjoy some high class desserts at such an important historical landmark in Korea! Very cool LG has an "historical" line, in a sense, of beauty care. That's a great way to remember the history of your country. I like that!
What a cool experience and beautiful palace. It's nice that organizers offered tea to other visitors that may not get a chance to have this special experience.
Fun fact, I visited Changdeokgung the same day and say this event and really wanted to participate... i didn't know where or when the subscription opening started... such a pity, i would have LOVED to try it out ^^ Hope next year I can do it :)
whoa! big sponsorship here- super happy for you! the snacks looked delicious. i did not know history of whoo was owned by LG- i always wanted to buy their skincare because everything looks beautiful, but it's really out of my budget. i was able to get a mini set of samples years ago. i still have it, the packaging is too cute to throw away! ps: sharing your desert is true love
I usually go through phases with content creators but I always enjoy your videos. They're so comfortable - such a great balance of chatting, info, hanging out and sharing your adventures. Everything feels real and accessible and you're both very down to earth and easy to watch. Just thank you xx
I did visit a michelin star restaurant in Montreal a fee years ago and aside from the exhorbitant price it was a very special experience! But this was even more interesting due to the historical meaning behind it. Super cool
So beautiful and your reactions were so sweet. Kyuho sharing his dessert with you, was also very sweet 😊 Middle-eastern desserts often feature pine nuts (usually as decorations and not an entire dessert made from them, because they're very expensive)
It really feels like Sunday night to me watching a new vlog from you as my work sched shifted as well I need to work this weekend & my thursday-friday night became my off so it really feels like Sunday night vibe to me watching you haha, time flies I remember Sunday night u guys having live & now it's Friday night🤯 I enjoyed watching your experience in this vlog seems like u enjoyed as well, what's next for Sunday? Thank you for this new vlog guys take care!!
Do you guys always take us to the most beautiful places and a long on the most wonderful experiences. I love it so much! Is that a limited time experience of which you all were a part at the palace? If not, I would love to partake in that win, I come to Korea someday. But if not, I guess you are will continue to show us wonderful things that we can enjoy that are not for a limited time. Thanks again for sharing. I appreciate exploring South Korea vicariously through you.
I've been to a really expensive, and expert restaurant once. I think they had 2 stars. It was 8 courses! It was just amazing, a great experience. But I think I prefer the more affordable but delicious restaurants.
SO SO LOVELY - I would love to visit, is it hard to get a booking/seasonal one off thing (it was mentioned as a collaboration)? Having dessert in the palace inspired by history of beauty, herbs and culture is so fascinating.
I always find it funny when Sarah’s meal is more often bigger than Kyuho’s but the better for him to help finish it off when necessary 😂 I hope you and your sponsor are happy with the video. Sarah’s description of the Yakgwa? was heavenly. Great plug!
That was so cool! Public history done right :) The desserts look amazing. I was actually kind of interested to hear what all those different ingredients were, was there a specific reason you didn't explain what they were and what they're called?
It was definitely a really cool experience enjoying desserts like that in the palace 😍 We did write out the name of each dessert as we showed it (there are no English names for them). It would’ve taken us ages to talk about all the ingredients of each 😅 which is why we focused on the flavors that really popped for us (ginger, goji berry, etc.)
it's a beautiful , wish I am there to join tea party with you guys , hopefully one day my dream, visits to Korea (mother land) , oh I used to use brand history of Whoo face cream, toner and eye cream but it's a very expensive and hard to get it , so I stop using it, now am using vegan brand TULA -face cream, tuner, serum and eye cream (again yeah it's expensive but can get it from store in USA)
@12:25 there were three young ladies dressed in old timey dresses? Their hair is also fixed the same? Is there a specific reason why they would be wearing this type of clothing? A wedding? Or perhaps something else?
They were dressed in the temple stay clothing :) Edit: Oops, my bad! I thought you were commenting on the Guinsa temple video 😂 The ladies rented hanbok to wear at the palace :)
It’s very cool how this entire event is free
This wasnt just food. This was a whole experience!
The setting, the service, the presentation of the dishes 🤌
Absolutely! 😍 Such an incredible experience 🥰
Having a little Sunday on my Friday 😊
Sunday vibes for sure!
@@2hearts1seoul thanks for all you do and share with your youtube friends. Big fan here, sending a virtual belly rub to beemo. 😁👋
It's interesting that a leading tire company also rates restaurants.
Been Living in Korea Since 2010 and To This Day , Hanok Still Amazes Me All The Time

Ohhh, that’s so nice that you do that! It’s our favorite palace by far 😍
I want to live in that Palace. Seems so peaceful❤
1:41 Just realised that Kyuho's happy food noise sounds like a cross between baby yoda and yoda... so middle-aged yoda 😂
What a great experience. Thank you for sharing. Love seeing the sights around your world.

Wow! as a foodie, I had to stop several times to just gawk at the different pieces. That was heavenly :P
Wow that looks incredible! Felt like I went to tea with ya'll :) I totally would've wanted seconds too.
The traditiona Korean Desserts looks so good
OK I am extra jealous of this grub right here 😂 What a setting! And these treats look incredible...
They were phenomenal 🥹
Beautiful South Korea! Thanks for sharing this video 🌺🌸😽
Thanks for watching! ☺️

My mom loves the 후 brand beauty line! So sad the 다과체험 is over😢 it looks amazing :)

This whole video was a feast for the eyes...just gorgeous! Great job with camera work and editing.

Will you guys be collaborating with Korea Tourism Board again? I really love the last year series and I traveled to Korea after watching it!
We’d certainly love to again :)
🇺🇸 Went to an awesome lattern parade at Jogyesa Temple! Sunday night and street party with techno after. Missed you guys!
Nice!! That’s one of our favorite temples in Seoul-hope you enjoyed it 🏮
SO SO LOVELY - I would love to visit, is it hard to get a booking/seasonal one off thing (it was mentioned as a collaboration)? Having dessert in the palace inspired by history of beauty, herbs and culture is so fascinating.

It’s always been our favorite palace in Seoul 🤭
Should bring Mom and Dad
There's a cute lil typo in your video ❤
Is anyone able to get on the palace website? :(
I want that yakgwa :(
It was so damn good 🥲

Free entrance if you wear Hanbok, Korean traditional clothing. There are many rental shops near the palaces~
"Herbal dispensary" say less🤣
Can be said with or without the "H" sound...lol
"medicine room" apothecary?
So many ads
This is our job 😅
