I have chronic kidney stones and infections and have had sepsis from it and hospitalized 4 times now. But, I also have degenerative spine disease per my abdominal CT’s done for my kidney issues. I also have fibromyalgia, so I understand that can/does exacerbate my pain.
My question is, could this be a condition I have if I have all of the symptoms? I’m to the point where my flank, back side pain is constant and I gave up going to the doctor unless I have a fever or other symptoms. I get so frustrated when they say there’s nothing obstructing and therefore I shouldn’t have pain. Now that I’m older, my blood pressure tells them I’m not making up pain which is nice? I guess? I never made it up. Other ideas they throw out are: scar tissue, pulled muscle, I forgot the rest. Oddly enough, not one peep about the degenerative spine disease. Crickets. Once I had scans about 2 months apart and the radiologist noted “marked degeneration” since last scan 😳
Shouldn’t I have been referred somewhere with my other symptoms of numbness in arms and hands and legs feeling heavy and almost disconnected from my body, like I wasn’t in charge of them?
I think I’m just one of those patients where the squeaky wheel gets the grease because it’s a lot going on but let me know if I should be asking more questions. Thanks
