I guess your opinion about The Last Dance really comes down to how you feel about the downtime, with the Area 55 crew and the family. I liked them both, I thought the family was really sweet and seeing Eddie and Venom just get a taste of relative normalcy just added to the inherent tragedy of the film. Area 55 I’m more mixed on. The whole brother plot with the lightning was a stretch, but the whole deal with Strickland (I think that was his name) I felt was well done. And it’s really one big set up for the bonkers final battle. I really love this trilogy, it’s a lot of fun. If I had to rank from best to worst I’d go: Venom: The Last Dance Venom Venom: Let There Be Carnage Had LTBC had some kind of extended cut I probably would’ve liked it more but as it is it’s just too damn condensed in the editing for me to say it’s better than the 1st film.

Maybe I probably have horrible taste in movies but the venom trilogy had me at the theater at premiere at all 3 films. I loved it very much 😊 especially last dance got me in tiers ❤
It’s really a pity that there wasn’t a lot of character development in the first film. They could’ve stretched the film in a way that wouldn’t be boring but more interesting, like Eddie’s backstory, how Eddie and her gf met, from which planet does Venom come from, etc… There was also this weird love and hate relationship between the the two that could’ve been more interesting if the movies were a bit longer and their relationship wasn’t so messy. Carnage was the best between the three but it was really short so a lot of scenes that would’ve been interesting to seen weren’t there and for me it just made the whole movie just a bit empty
I like these movies because they aren’t meant to be taken too seriously, Last Dance had its staked at certain moments but they probably kept it safe with Null solely because it wouldn’t make sense for the last movie to be the highest build up like infinity war

3:50 you are correct, Fire is supposed to kill him but Eddie landed in water with Venom still attached to Eddie and as we all know water Gets rid of fire so that’s how Venom survived
Venom 1 was by far my favorite simply for how venom acted. He was actually menacing and killed people. Him not talking to Eddie much and keeping a cool calm demeanor through most of the movie was nice. 2 had some scenes that were just goofy and made venom seem like a toddler, “Err Grr give me chocolate!” Isn’t very menacing or serious. It’s silly. The 3rd one had the exact same problem. Just goofy dance scenes with minimal time on them being serious. The whole world could be destroyed and they could die, but come on let’s have a dance sequence with a conveniently placed cameo. It’s just silly. The first movie had some scenes which I thought were great, like the best example is when Eddie wants to climb the tower and leave the evidence. Venom is pretty hands off and lets Eddie talk to the man at the front, only saying things like “you want up?” Then getting it done. The 1st and the 2nd/3rd movie just seem to be targeting way different audiences

Venom is my favorite marvel character and even though he got three movies, putting him on par with iron man and cap, I feel like he got done dirty by marvel. All three movies should’ve been r rated so there was more creative potential in the fight scenes and plot. I mean look at Deadpool movies and Logan, only r rated marvel movies I can think of and people LOVE those movies. I feel like venom and the symbiote plot in general has a ton of room for growth especially now with the addition of knull into the mcu, but I can stop thinking about how much better these movies could’ve been.
The Interesting part of Venom movies was the Concept Of Lethal Protector. You know it was a Nice Idea of Making a Supervillain or Antihero A hero. And Most interesting was to make two losers A Hero, main Characters who can hardly win with their Enemies.
Though there are a lot of places to improve, overall I quite enjoyed all the films. It's not something where you meant to think about all these factors and whatnot (though I definitely do think they would be both better and more enjoyable). It's more-so just something to sit back and watch the cool guys do some cool stuff. As the other comments say, it's dumb fun.
Let me get this straight. . . Sony was able to make 3 GREAT games based on Spider man Co Operate with Marvel and make really solid Spiderman trilogy . . . twice + 2 Andrew Garfield Spider man movies Make in 3rd Spiderman game Venom possibly most solid version we ever had. But they could not give money for better directors, scripts etc to make Spiderman related IP's solid entrances as well?
Don’t understand why the Venom trilogy gets so much hate, especially Venom1. Like seriously this is the best out of the three imo (haven’t seen TLD yet). 10:33 Well duh they aren’t gonna do anything with him, 1. Sony would be so screwed if they put him in any sort of action 2. Knull is a multiversal threat more of a threat than anyone in the MCU what do you expect to happen? Those “weird dogs” are Xenophages.
I loved the movies, I feel kinda bad for sony cuz they are way to overhated and I don't even know why? Everyone that I know said that the Venom movies are really fun and they prefer them over latest mcu movies which are way worse than the venom trilogy. The relationship between Eddie and Venom is wholesome and they deserve to have their own show or at least 2 more movies to bring them back together and give them a happy ending. Maybe we could get the infamous "sex" scene between them from the comics xD. The venom 3 ending left me heartbroken. We need more movies
The trilogy is great and I love it in it's self but the problem with comic book films is it needs to live up to the expectation of the comics so if it doesn't people will be disappointed
The Venom Trilogy could’ve been Better if It was R-Rated and used more Spider-Man Villains, Rather than making Villain Movies use the Characters as Foil against Eddie & Venom. Would’ve been cool asf If It was Kraven & Morbius hunting down Venom, Go full in on the Brutality and Their Respective strong points. You gotta make sure People DO NOT notice the Absence of Spider-Man whilst keeping them Hooked to The Story. Speaking of Spider-Man they really should’ve utilised more of The ATSV Characters to appear in The Venom Movies, Atleast make sure Venom gets the Classical Logo Look even if it’s VERY Else-Worldly, Let the Guy swing around like Spidey. The Blade Movies were the Perfect Blueprint that The Venom Movies should’ve followed. You could probably manage atleast ONE Billion Dollar hit if you just do everything I said.
I agree, the critics seem to find flaws in everything. They don't watch the movie for entertainment. While the Venom trilogy weren't perfect, you could tell the cast and crew cared about the movies
My ranking is Venom Venom The Last Dance Venom Let There Be Carnage Tbh I just don't really remember 3 that much and my hype for the og Venom when it came out probably makes it my favorite lol
What I like about the Venom trilogie is even that it wasn't a cash grab, they failed making the movies "good" but they tried so they can make a good movie, not to grab aa much money as they can.
I’ll admit the venom movies have more flaws in them than what’s necessary, but in my own personal opinion, I really enjoy these movies and think they get more hate than they deserve. I will also admit the flaws these movies have allows me to understand why people don’t like them.
In my opinion the third movie the only one that nailed it, perfect mix of comedy and action. Plus this movie actually had stakes I was surprised. I didn’t care at all about the knoll stuff they weren’t gonna get it right in a 2hr movie, I definitely hope eddies story and knull continue in Spider-Man 4 or something a LOTTT of cool ideas where established here that could be built upon in the MCU
NO NO NO NO NO THIS IS THE GREATEST MCU TRILOGY ALONG WITH SAM RAIMI TRILOGY BECAUSE IN THE FIRST MOVIE EDDIE ACCEPTS VENOM, IN THE SECOND ONE VENOM ACCEPTS EDDIE AND IN THE THIRD ONE THEYBOTH HAVE AN EMOTIOONAL SEPERATING

i would say that the third movie is the best out of three. i will say that i quickly forgot about the first movie, but rated it higher than the second. my ranking is 3, 2, 1.
i dunno why people hate it. it's one of the most lar, and long-awaited trilogies in the mcu. i went to see tld in theatres on the 26th, a day after release. it's such a good movie! very sad ending, as venom is considered completely dead (*ahem* post credits wink wink) but yeah imo, extremely underrated trilogy. needs more ratings.
EYES , LUNGS , PACREAS ,SO MANY SNACKS.THAT IS MY FAVOIRITE LINE 😂😂😂😂
Let me get this straight. . .
Sony was able to make 3 GREAT games based on Spider man
Co Operate with Marvel and make really solid Spiderman trilogy . . . twice + 2 Andrew Garfield Spider man movies
Make in 3rd Spiderman game Venom possibly most solid version we ever had.
We need more movies
the first and the third ones are my kinda jam!
I absolutely hate the 2nd one...
To me they were never supposed to be huge blockbusters, just fun movies
Don't expect the film director of Venom 2 is literally caesar from the rebooted planet of the apes.
Dude I actually love these movies idk why their so hated
I agree, the critics seem to find flaws in everything. They don't watch the movie for entertainment. While the Venom trilogy weren't perfect, you could tell the cast and crew cared about the movies
I recently rewatched Venom, and it was even better than i remember. I dont know how people hate the movies. They are so good.
My ranking is
Venom
Venom The Last Dance
Venom Let There Be Carnage
Tbh I just don't really remember 3 that much and my hype for the og Venom when it came out probably makes it my favorite lol
What I like about the Venom trilogie is even that it wasn't a cash grab, they failed making the movies "good" but they tried so they can make a good movie, not to grab aa much money as they can.
You're first problem is you checked the critic review
Very underrated. I enjoyed these movies a lot, although the dialogue in venom 1 and 2 could be fixed
We should just cut the movies and let the fans make it
Nah bro the second movie was definitely the worst, but got rated the best??
Understandable
To be honest, I love let there be carnage with all my life
I like venom lat their be carnage but the plot lacks
I have seen all 3 movies so I like the venom trilogy
new venom movie was ight i gave it a 7/10 after i watched.. the next day i gave it a 6/10
I actually loved the movies a lot I don't understand why people are hating on it besides not having spiderman on it
All of them venom movies are heavily underrated and they’re all good movies that have great fans like me critics kind of suck nowadays
Just give my Man the Spider-Emblem In Spider-Man 4
The best review youtuber ever!🎉
Thanks! But, I’m pretty sure the best reviewer is Moist Critical.
@@AnotherNickYTnah.
Critics are the most untrustable people ever. They absolutely suck. They hate everything.
Venom is one of my favourite franchises of all time I just love them
Is it just me or did anyone hear the HK city of tears music play at 11:52
You sure did
I have to say, this was my favorite marvel movie “trilogy” not gonna lie. I enjoyed all the movies and my ranking of each is
1 Venom the last dance
2 Venom
3 venom let there be “that is a red one!”
My only problem is wasting all of our symbiotes for a 20 min fight sequence in a 1:40 min movie this was a fun ride but a true let down if there’s not smt to back it up 🙏
i would say that the third movie is the best out of three. i will say that i quickly forgot about the first movie, but rated it higher than the second. my ranking is 3, 2, 1.
i dunno why people hate it. it's one of the most lar, and long-awaited trilogies in the mcu. i went to see tld in theatres on the 26th, a day after release.
it's such a good movie! very sad ending, as venom is considered completely dead (*ahem* post credits wink wink)
but yeah imo, extremely underrated trilogy. needs more ratings.
JUST CAUSE IT AINT CONNECTED TO THE COMIC BOOKS DONT MEAN ITS BAD, CRITICS!!
Never knew anyone hated these movies I love them and I’m not even a big venom fan
ngl i love the colour pallet in the venom movies it really suits these movies
Venom survives off of a cockroach.
The fact we got a trilogy with venom and mabey just mabey future appearances in other movies
maybe ppl disappointed there is no Spidey vs venom yet that's why there mad as fro , Knull i know he's barely in the movie but they want to build him im sure for mcu who knows he's big deal villain type stuff since if u read the comic
I feel like they did all they really could with knull
Cause if he escaped, the movie would be over in minutes
Ive never read the comics or really anything about venom I just know that I loved all three movies at least a 7-9 out of ten for all the movies for me
