Thank you for another edition!!!! We need this history to be told. I wish you could collaborate with sites like Polyphonic or Trash Theory on a documentary project on a definitive comprehensive history of Hip Hop.
Thanks for the info. It's great that "WE" know BUT it's criminal & frustrating that the history books are telling a different story...THE WRONG STORY. How do we go about correcting the wrong? It isn't fair
Definitely not fair, but unfortunately these omissions occur with the brick layers of all cultural movements. They arrive too early to be properly included in the historical narrative, then are forgotten once that cultural movement takes shape. If not for Joey mentioning this to me, he may have taken it to the grave. We've got to record our own history
What up JayQuan I see your back. I see you pretty much covered alot of Hip Hop history on the Eastcoast And the beginings of How the Eastcoast started out from the late 70s thur the late 80s I wanted to know if your gonna do anything on The DJ's And also the Era of Breakdancing And If your gonna do anything on the beginings of Westcoast Hip Hop.😎
