What people don't seem to realize in this whole issue is that this is not an issue of accepting people per se. If you remembering 90s, the idea of homosexuality was based on the premise that male and female are not interchangeable. Nobody in science Media or politics believed that there was an infinite number of genders which people could randomly choose to be anytime they want. In fact homosexual rights was based on the premise that they could not change their sexuality it was born into them.
This new transgenderism completely contradicts the previous homosexual activism. It is orwellian, in the sense that it is double think. On the one hand you must believe that gays is a type of sexuality that they cannot choose and cannot control, on the other hand you must believe that people can be transgender whenever they feel like it and they can choose it. Ultimately the people who started this issue don't really care about anybody's so-called rights, they really care about creating as much confusion as possible. The purpose of this issue like many other social issues is to create social confusion and destabilization. It's a cultural revolution, which Mao pioneered. If you want to get a people used to being ruled by your system and your Elites, you need to break that culture down in every way possible until it completely collapses. You notice that transgenderism is not pushed in China, nor in Saudi Arabia. That's because those regimes are already authoritarian, and their cultures do not need to be destabilized. This transgenderism is only pushed in free and open societies for the purpose of making so that people can't even speak to each other using regular pronouns in language. You will eventually be arrested for accidentally using the wrong term of speech against people because you don't know what gender they have decided to be at this day this minute or this second. This creates a serious level of distrust and discomfort and people don't even want to talk to each other. Again, the purpose of these sorts of social issues is not to protect rights or to help the helpless, it is to make Society unstable and people incapable of even interacting on the most basic level. The ultimate purpose of that is to destroy the civilization so that it can be rebuilt along totalitarian lines. How do I know this? I hung out with loads of maoists in University, and it was a very eye-opening experience.

Krista, I totally relate to your comment about childhood interests. I loved Annie Oakley, played cowboys and Indians, wore my own gun and holster, gathered grasshoppers as pets...on and on. But I NEVER considered these as signs that I was not a girl. My nephew asked for a doll, and his dad had no misgivings. He's a boy. No problem. Indeed, it wasn't a problem. This phase and his interests changed. My nephew is a Marine, married and a dad. The unfortunate aspect of all this focus on the body/behavior/sex/gender is that we are locking people into expected "bodies" because of random interests and activities. We are stereotyping children more rigidly and destructively than regular Christians have ever done.

We ought to treat our bodies with dignity, which means abstaining from the things which will corrupt their purpose i.e. sexual immorality, gluttony, self-indulgence, etc.

I need that book. I think this discussion and topic transcends the transgender, homosexuality, and abortion issues. It applies to how sexual abuse distorts a child's identity, how eating disorders and addictions come from distorted and gnostic views of the body, and how even personal differences in personality styles among women as a group and men as a group are not only divinely ordained but shaped by our unique experiences and dynamics within our families and by our formative social experiences in childhood, all also divinely ordained. I will tell you why. Right now our culture is so emotional, rationality has been thrown out the window. Let me quote something here to back up what I am saying here.
"When your emotional almost all thinking is irrational. The reason is that when we become emotional the emotional center in our brain called the amygdala kicks in and flood our bodies with chemicals. And at the same time the pre frontal cortex which is responsible for rational thought shuts off so our ability to think logically is literally impaired until our emotions are back under control." When you are angry, are you acting rationally? When you calm down, do you often think about the actions you took while angry and regret them? Is it like rationality returns once you are calm?

This is what is called "putting a lipstick on a pig", i.e. creating an illusion of Christianity being such a leading, loving and happy life affirming worldview, while in reality being the exact opposite of leading or loving, and definitely not even close to happy life affirming.
All of it is just the same old empty hypocritical pretentious talk I have been witnessing throughout my 40+ years of being a Christian.

How is it “wonderful” to see these two movements (radical feminism & Christianity) coming together? Firstly is Christianity “a movement” ? Secondly, a little bit of yeast. Do we engage with those who do not honour God? Yes, He came to save the lost! Do we partner with them and give them a platform and encouragement when many of their ideals are anathema to Jesus Christ and flies in the face of His death???? Please be careful what you are not just encouraging but endorsing to the confusion of many less educated or mature.

I am a post op trans woman. I needed to medically transition to treat my gender dysphoria. There was no way I could be comfortable in the body I had. That's the reality for some of us.
This stuff isn't being pushed on kids. Telling kids that trans is a thing and that it's ok isn't the same as pushing people to transition. Medical transition isn't good for everyone. I certainly wouldn't push someone to transition.

There are cases where it is pushed, most kids with gender dysphoria do change as they get older so transitioning a child against parental consent is pretty sickl

It is being pushed in some cases but ultimately it’s a detriment to society because of how it is portrayed within pop culture. Same thing goes for homosexuality and race relations. All these lefty ideologies our the moralizing the culture of this nation and the world.

@@jennoscura2381 There are cases in canada where one parent gives consent and one doesnt and the parent who doesnt loses custody, in fact there is a law in ontario that kids be taken away from parents who dont encourage transition. There have been some nightmare cases and for some reason there are these doctors that really want these kids to transition. I know there are some trans adults who are against what is happening in canada. You have to remember that some of these kids will be infertile and there are plenty of people who regret transitioning. Im glad you are happy but as you know it is a big deal.
