Mobs don't spawn near light, make sure to place torches in your house and maybe on your stairs. Don't put pressure plates, mobs can step on those and they can get into your house.

Bazerk, I suggest you...
1. Make a shield so that you can fight mobs easier
2. Put a gate at the bottom of your staircase so that mobs can't go up and only you can when you open the gate
3. Put torches everywhere (in your house and your staircase) so that mobs will not spawn
4. Make a animal farm and start planting seeds for more food
5. Always have a water bucket in case you need to go anywhere (up or down) and to get rid of fire damage if you are on fire
6. Never break the diamonds immediately and break the surroundings first so you can know if there is lava nearby (so that the diamonds will not burn in the lava again ;-;)
7. Don't use gold for tools or armor
8. Make a tree farm by planting the saplings around your house so if you run out of trees, you won't have to travel far for more food
9. Get a flint and steel to light it under animals then kill them so that the food they drop will be cooked already
Bazerk use your gold for golden apples, you put an apple in the middle en the surroundings must be gold bars. You can you use those for fighting the ender dragon and other bosses, when you go to the nether.

Also Bazerk, if you come across a 2 block high area you can spam jump while moving forward, you can move faster in case any mob is chasing you. Also here is another tip, if you pour water directly on top of lava, you can create obsidian and you can only mine obsidian with a diamond pickaxe or higher.
Use torches
Dig around diamonds for safety
Get obsidian
Make sugar cane farm
Make paper then books with leather
Make enchantment table you may need more diamonds

Cover every block in and close to your base in torches! Do not miss a single block. Cover everything in torches, 100s of torches to stop monsters from spawning in ur house and near it... this is epic gamer advise!

Bazerk, To block off the monsters use fences and carpet on top of fences. You can jump on the fences with the carpet on them but the monsters can't jump on it. Fences are 1.5 blocks high and you can only jump 1 block. Put the fences on top on the fences to make it to where you can jump on it but monsters can't. I also suggest you put torches around the spawner you found so that the monsters can't spawn. Sorry if tis is a bit too long. :(

1. Makes sure to get full at least iron armour
2. Only mine gold in order to make golden apples. Armour and tools are weak
3. Put torches around your house and stairs in order for mobs to not spawn
4. Don't use your diamond pick on anything but obsidian because if it breaks you have to make another one
5. Try finding a village, they have good loot
6. Try making a bow
7. If you fight an enderman never use that bow
8. Around the mines try mining the spider webs with your sword, it's faster and try to explore it because there are many chests around the mineshafts

Tip for bazerk: don’t use ur diamond pickaxe for mining everything if you don’t have that many diamonds. Carry around a few iron picks for mining cobblestone and only use the diamond for obsidian until you get a lot of diamonds bc ur diamond pick is gonna break.

Bazerk when you zombies spawn it is because it is dark and they don't spawn in day, so you need to place torchs about 10 spaces apart to be effective.

I think what should happen is about every 5 episodes you guys meet around some campfire place with suspenseful music and talk about what you've been doing and your houses, I feel like there would be some funny reaction
Make an iron bucket and fill it with water to prevent fall damage and stop lava. Just remember to pick up the water after you place.

If you have your own mine to go to diamond level you have to make stairs on your way down in the mine so you co go faster down and up if you cant go forward there is a block above you that stops you from moving
