- Hey all, we take a break from all the Walmart madness this week and head out if town to make a trade with a fellow RUclipsr. Picking up a secret gift for someone, shhhhhh... I know I’m a bit late, but I was amazed seeing “Phoenix Resale” Caleb here, since he has different motives as a collector than you do. Both you and Caleb host some of my favourite game hunting channels on RUclips, so it was extra nice seeing Caleb come on here. It’d also be nice to see Retro Rick or Chase After the Right Price on here too, but I’m not holding my breath. :P

I appreciate it. Caleb and I talk regularly on games to look for in the wild. We had been talking about doing a trade for a while now and just finally got around to doing it. Chase and I actually almost made a trade a while back, but we could never find a time when we could get together. I do talk to Rick as well on occasion, but he’s a little farther away. Though I do have family in Arkansas so it’s not out of the question. Thanks again for watching, I’m always happy to hear that you guys are enjoying the videos. I’ve been game hunting for years, I just decided after the lockdowns ended that I would start recording on it. I’ve been having a lot of fun doing it!!!

I got no problem with giving him a decent deal on stuff that I know he can turn around and make money off of. And as I said in the video it’s mostly stuff that was not being used for the most part.

I came across mod nation racers, ray-man legends, and fifa soccer for the vita at a pawn shop for $5 a piece and little big planet for $10. I jumped on it quick 😂
Nice bro!!! I’ve only seen vita games at one pawnshop in town recently. Unfortunately it was before I actually had my vita and when I went back afterwords they were all gone.

Nice deals, and yeah I tired going to Walmart this week, i saw some game that had to no price but when i scan them said they were out of stock but they were in front of me. I tried to ask on and the guy said or they must be mark wrong which I knew that was bull. Shame found a few but could get any. I tried fixing the Xbox one but no go who ever own it drop water in it and couldn't read and disk even he tried to replace and no which i was sad on it. As for the Vita still trying to find one but it hard when everyone marking them up so much. Great Video as always and hope you son love his gift.
A lot of times when I scan games at Walmart it comes up as saying out of stock. I usually just scan something else and then come back and scan that game again and it usually works after a couple tries. A lot of things with low stock will have issues scanning but eventually will scan the price if you try it a couple times. Definitely a common problem

I know very well how much he can get for it on Amazon. i’m not a reseller. That’s why I offered it up to him. That’s his full-time job. I choose not to sell stuff online. I’ve had to deal with too many idiots in the past. I figured if I can help out a friend and get myself something that my son can use, I’m happy to do it.

There is a memory card on eBay that supposed to make the gameboy player work for 30$
I have seen those too. Usually they have to be paired with a certain game. When you boot the game with the memory card inserted it should boot the game boy player. It’s so cool how people have found ways to get around the start up disk

Just scored a cib copy of Animal Crossing on the Switch for $20 and $20 for a loose copy of the God of War Collection on the Vita at a local pawnshop today. I don't even need a copy of GOW since I already have a cib copy of it already. I can get a little over double up on that game on ebay.
All of the collection games whether it be on handheld or on Console seem to hold a lot of value

I’m always excited to find any vita game for $10 or less. Seems like I’m always finding loose ones though. Did everyone get rid of their cases for these things?
I dont get that too. Anytime I'm at thrift stores, they're always in a basket loose!! I mean the cases don't take up that much space!
Child of light on switch has a Uk version that also has valiant hearts on one cart
I believe the US version did the same thing with putting both games on one cartridge. Though I could be wrong, they did have a habit of using codes in a lot of the multi game packages in the states…

Next time you're in Lexington you should stop by Gamexchange. They have a lot of older game and a decent amount of rare stuff behind the counter.
I’ll definitely check it out. I usually don’t do a ton of game hunting when the family is with me. Next time I venture down there though I’ll definitely sneak in and take a look.

Haha, I bought one of each when they were originally posted at 1 AM eastern time. I’m always on top of the deal of the day, even if it’s possibly only a glitch. I posted it on Instagram and Twitter after i bought it. It appears that GameStop has taken all three of them down off the site as of this morning though. I have been checking my orders page to see if it has shipped yet.

I usually try to only do three copies per month. I want to say that after that the block you from being able to trade for a period of time

I played the heck out of it. I can’t believe it had close to 50 games on his hard drive. I originally had thought about giving it to my son, but with it having the 3-D functionality I just didn’t think it was a good idea. I’d much rather help out a friend and get a switch for Andrew

That always makes me cringe when I see cardboard boxes with stickers on them. Luckily half price books’ stickers usually come off without any issues, and don’t usually leave residue. You still think they would’ve found a way to mark it without putting the whole sticker on…

you will regret getting rid of the CECHA01 and that 3ds trade is crazy lopsided. which i guess is the point for phoenix.
It’s funny that you think that Phoenix initiated that trade. I proposed it to him actually. In the end I had $150 into that 3DS. So I essentially got a switch lite and a game for $150. It’s hard to find a used switch lite by itself at most stores for under $160. I played every game that was installed on that 3DS for about three or four months so I definitely think I got my moneys worth playing it. I have a new 3DS XL of my own still. I didn’t need two. I think the only reason I bought the Pikachu one was because it has like 50 games installed in the hard drive that I could play. I probably would’ve given it to my son, but I don’t want him using the 3-D functionality on it. I understand a lot of people view these things as currency. I view them as video games that I enjoy playing. If I can help Caleb in the process with his business, I’m happy to do it. As for the PS3, that thing has been sitting in my closet for about six months. It’s not even my primary PS3 anymore. As it is, the CMOS battery probably won’t last all that much longer on that model anyway, not to mention the fail rate on those initial runs were pretty high even though mine is still functioning well and I took really good care of it. I highly doubt I’ll ever regret selling it.

It’s no big deal to me. I’m used to people bidding up the price. That’s the reason why I don’t buy stuff off marketplace hardly ever. Still got some good deals on the games.

Sweet!!! What did you do to hack it? I think if I had not been worried about the CMOS battery dying on it before too long I might’ve held onto it longer, but it literally has been sitting in my closet for about six months.
@@CincyGameHunting it had a low firmware when I got it so I used the kmeaw custom firmware and then updated to the 4.87 evilnat cfw
I modded my GC in order to use my Gamecube Player. Lol
Did you use the memory card trick or did you do something else?
@@CincyGameHunting I did the memory card trick and sd2sp2 to load backups or make game rips, along with 007 Agent Under Fire as the swiss boot disc. Now I use the GC Loader PNP with a Loader Mount and the sd2sp2 to use as a memory card for game saves. The GC Loader is easy to install. All you do is remove the disc drive and plug that bad boy in. There is alot of screws you need to remove in order to get the drive out. One of the memory card slot screws got stripped so I had to buy a screw removal pliers. I tell you what, those pliers are a must have if you work on alot of consoles or other things that has small screws.
Lol, so let me get this straight. Where you live out there in the middle of the country, your GameStop’s still have Wii games?? I haven’t seen a Wii game at a physical game stop in literally a decade.
Pretty much every game stop in Cincinnati area has Wii games in the shop. There are a select few that don’t but they’re usually the smaller stores I don’t have a lot of space. A lot of stores stopped putting them on shelves and just have them in the drawers behind the counter. I always ask when I go into a GameStop what wii u games they have in stock. You’ll be surprised at how many still keep some in the drawers.
