I know of a true story from India! A woman found a small injured snake in the forest. It was malnaurished , hungry and cold. She took the small snake home. It started to sleep next to the lady and stretch itself from head to toe. It refused to eat for some days. The lady was worried.she carried her sweet snake to the vet and explained it has refused to eat now for some weeks. The vet checked on the snake, took temps etc etc. The snake was in perfect shape. The vet asked her does the snake sleep next to you and stretch itself from your head to toe. The lady said yes. The vet told her, it's measuring your size and height because it's preparing itself for a meal. You are that meal, it wanted first an empty stomach 😢😢😢😢. Be careful whom you nurse. Some are pythons who can swallow you alive.
