Great video, most don’t know how critical good casting is, makes you more efficient and gets those couple extra fish on a day on the lake. I go in the back yard and practice after stressful work days
Thank you... I never catch any fish, but I feel like with just a few more of your great videos I will never go home empty handed again... I never had anyone to teach me how to fish, so I was always fishing the wrong spot and using the wrong bait. I really appreciate you and all of the great videos. I'll be out on lake Maumelle this summer in a sail boat with no mast, and just putting around, so if you see me come say hi! I have a mast, I just need to get everything set up right 1st since I just bought the boat, but I will be out on the water with the little putt-putt until then. Take care and God bless you and yours. :)
I guess for us bank fishermen we dont use anything to stand on, right? Thats how i was practicing in my backyard after watching your how to pitch video. Good video thx. I know some guys use coffee can lying down to practice flipping into.
Since I'm fishinh out a kayak, and am pretty even with the water when standing, would it be better to practice without the crate and cast from ground level? Also, I have trouble roll casting and pitching with anything longer than 7ft rod because I hit the water, so stick with shorter rods maybe?
Great Video dawg!! SO WHAT if you get a Backlash!!... The thing is you working to IMPROVE your skills...and the only way to do that is with Practice?? *We Talkin bout Practice Man,....Not on The Lake, In a Tournament,. We Talkin Bout Practice, Practice Man?!lol*
You gotta stay loose, relaxed. Keep your feet apart. Now, ten o'clock, two o'clock, quarter to three, tour jeté, twist, pas de deux, I'm a little teapot, then the windup... and let 'er fly! The Perfect Cast.
Ok I think I understand accuracy. Spinning reel: stay away from obstacles. Baitcaster: seek obstacles. Fishing off bank: spinning reel. Fishing off boat: baitcaster. If you want to pull your hairs out: baitcaster. If you just want to fish: spinning reel. I get it
Aim for the top of the safety cone. Feb 11, 2018 - Pro bass fisherman Kevin VanDam says that accuracy is much more important than distance when it comes to casting, and he demonstrates this by hurling his bait into his friend's coffee cup. During its 2018 Spring Fishing ... TV Spot........ te he he
I dont understan why in usa the reel is right handed. You are all the time changing the rod of hand. In spain whe fish with reel left handed. We dont lose time changing the rod of hand, and if a bass take the bait in these moment we dont lose it. Why right handed in u.s.a.!!!!
Come on, change weight lure, change rod, change change to finally hit the target. In mine option 🐴🐴🐴 keep on trying. Can do this with any kind of rod and lure. See trick casting on youtube
This helped me all bro only guy that try’s his best to explain everything

Great video man. What baitcaster are you using there? Not the Black Max but the silver one.
Nice job

Johnny if you were a bank fisherman, would you use a shorter rod?
Hi Jonny, Can a senior woman use roll cast and pitch a fishing ?
New to baitcasters and can’t figure out how to roll cast to make the bait go straight in front of me. It’s always like 90° to the side
It's about the point of release. Practice releasing it at different moments.

10,000 hours needed to master a craft! Practice practice practice 👍 a tin coffee can to cast into and try to make no noise!

Need some help thank you !!!
Man oh man, you must have a ton of money in rods and reels, it's all cool though.
My neighbor: Hey bud I don’t think you’re gonna catch any fish in the yard. 😭
@Bennybass I get it all the time. "Had any luck" lol
I cast in my backyard so no one can see!
Great instructional video.... your yard needs a little work though. 😂🤣😂

Why right handed in u.s.a.!!!!
Not everyone in the US uses a right hand reel. I use left hand Daiwas and Lews. Cast with your right hand, reel with your left
Lose time? Cmon
I flip into a coffee can... cant hear it= good entry
Dont want to know this stuff. The title is off topic.
