Ann I've watched many of your videos now, your manner is so calming and your knowledge is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom, so inspirational!
Thanks for sharing Ann. I am making my wish list lol. Maybe one for Christmas and birthday....2 days apart. Then I can make up some holidays lol. I have been looking at them but had not seen so many ways put together on how to use them.
Loved the video! Please tell your hubby he's doing a excellent job. Everytime I see one of your videos I get excited about clay again!! Really wish I could've got to know you while you were in Virginia. Learning from you would've definitely been worth the drive to the other side of the water!! Keep up the great work. ☺️
Omg I love that technique to make a hand built foot! I'm totally gonna try that 🤩 all my feet come out crooked and weird! Thank you, I love your videos!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! You are so talented, I totally want to spend an hour in your brain........ that's creepy, I mean, I'd love to be your best friend....... okay, that's just as creepy, please continue to share your talent... very inspiring!
Hi Paula. For this video I did use the R8 which is the faceted extruder for the first project with the mug (the handle and the banding). I used the R1 for the hexagon rim. I used the T1 and3 for the foot trimmings I used the R2 for the handbuilt bowl foot and the decorative appliques on the bottle vase. I used the R4 for the lugs on the side of the bowl. :-)
The tools are made by Diamondcore. We are not compensated or endorsed by them (and we receive no commission on any sales) - we just really like their tools.
We got these from Diamondcore...there is a link in the description if you would like to look at what they offer. They are amazing tools! Thanks for watching.
I am looking for adjustable trimmers right now on the internet since seeing the first of this video, and I have not seen any............yet. Is there a specific brand name?
@@LittleStreetPottery Thank you Anne, I found them just before your reply. I just inherited a kiln and have yet to fire it, waiting for a pottery wheel to show up today, so have yet to do anything with clay............yet. So I am still in the homework mode. The diamond core seems a bit pricey, but if I get addicted I'll probably be buying some. Thanks for your reply, I'll be checking out more of your videos.
You are right Joseph, they are more expensive so I totally understand where you are coming from. We arent selling these tools, just showing you ways to use the tools that are out there,..... Look at the results ,though, and the time you save like in extruding handles vs pulling handles. The results are so professional, the pottery you make would sell and the tools would pay for themselves. I think they are worth the money but that is just me. Happy potting to you! ---Maybe save for a birthday present for yourself:-)
I love the slab building portions of your videos. Very nice!
