It's a shame, they are voted among themselves, always the same. Last year was an anecdote but it is always the same. This festival has lost the essence but since 15 years ago . We always try to send the best possible songs to Eurovision to show off our musical talent here in Sweden, and i don't get why people are mad us for being rewarded with a deserved victory for having the best song according to the voters :/. Just want to make it clear for everyone. "Lovers on the Sun" was written in 2014 and "Heroes" in 2013. Måns didn't released it when it was written because he sent it in February 2014 to Swedish Television, "SVT" for Melodifestivalen February 2015 (The competition before Eurovision 2015). One of the producers for "Lovers on the Sun" is the Swede, Avicii. For the record, in my opinion the songs aren't that similar, maybe in the beginning and chorus, but nothing else. Måns is not homophobic, if he was he wouldn't even hug Conchita when he won, he wouldn't kiss a guy at a party in Stockholm and he has made several excuses for what he said in Plura's show. He was the host of the "QX Gay Gala" in year 2014, the biggest event for homosexuals in Sweden. If Eurovision was "Europolitics" then Russia wouldn't even make it to the second place. She would probably doesn't get any points at all. She got second place because she is amazing, had a really wonderful performance and voice. The people of Russia chose her (which is quite lovely, because that means they want peace) not the state. Her song is also written by two Swedish songwriters. And after all, Måns won because he had a great performance, wonderful voice and really deserved it after all his work. To sum this up, this is what he said when he had won: "We all are heroes no matter who you are, who we love or what we believe in, I love you!"

I think Eurovision songs need to have a complete package: nice to the ears, good presentation and a certain "X" factor. Sweden definitely get it as they won again, as with "Euphoria", that song also had the complete package. But, I would not listen to a song as this on the radio. But I did not hear the radio edit, so maybe my conclusion is misplaced.

Apparently it doesn't bother some people that the voices of millions were basically erased in favor of a jury. It bothers me, i'm not italian, i don't care if they win or not. I see why people are pissed that Italy (who had the most televotes) didn't win, but these are the people that prefer Italy's song. I am in love with Heroes and the singer's voice and I don't see why there's anything wrong with a great performance. It just shows that they were creative. If the ESC hoster wanted it to be only about good songs, they would have changed the rules to "No one is allowed to move one inch on stage and there is darkness except for one spotlight". And there's also nothing wrong with the voting system. If you're not good, then you don't get points, no problem with that. And even if there were points given from 1-20 the worst songs would still end up at the end of the list. I'm from Germany and we didn't get any points, but I'm fine with that. It wasn't good, so why blame it on the system? And juries are also just people who have their own tastes in music, it can't be totally objective. For example, the previous years we had a pop winning song, then next year we have a ballad winning song, next year we have pop or rock winning song, then next year we have again a ballad winning song ect. I think Eurovision songs need to have a complete package: nice to the ears, good presentation and a certain "X" factor. Sweden definitely get it as they won again, as with "Euphoria", that song also had the complete package. But, I would not listen to a song as this on the radio. But I did not hear the radio edit, so maybe my conclusion is misplaced.
Eurovision is not only about singing and songs. It's also about performance on stage and he has it all - he sings well,his song is very nice and the effects on the stage made his performance even better.

Apparently it doesn't bother some people that the voices of millions were basically erased in favor of a jury. It bothers me, i'm not italian, i don't care if they win or not. The problem is that Sweden was Third, not second or first for the people. But the jury pushed back Italy and pushed up Sweden, what's the point in voting when the people's third favourite becomes the winner? I think it's unfair. Anyway, Sweden won and that's it, it may seem unfair to me and many other people, i cannot change it, no one can, we'll have to accept the decision to silence the people's choice

But you are incorrect: Most of the countries voted for Italy as the best song (14 times number 1 for Italy compared to only 6 or so for Sweden). Sweden "only" reached third place in overall popularity (behind Russia).
Myrilion XY I agree!! I don't see adolescents listen to the Italy or Russia songs. Younger ones like listen to songs that are easy to listen to and songs that get stuck in your head like this one. I think he does deserve it as well as Belgium would have, but that's another cookie.

I see why people are pissed that Italy (who had the most televotes) didn't win, but these are the people that prefer Italy's song. I am in love with Heroes and the singer's voice and I don't see why there's anything wrong with a great performance. It just shows that they were creative. If the ESC hoster wanted it to be only about good songs, they would have changed the rules to "No one is allowed to move one inch on stage and there is darkness except for one spotlight". And there's also nothing wrong with the voting system. If you're not good, then you don't get points, no problem with that. And even if there were points given from 1-20 the worst songs would still end up at the end of the list. I'm from Germany and we didn't get any points, but I'm fine with that. It wasn't good, so why blame it on the system? And juries are also just people who have their own tastes in music, it can't be totally objective. So, I think there's nothing wrong with Sweden winning, but we can say that Italy is the folk's winner. :) Greetings from Germany!

I really love Sweden, I always get hyped when this country wins, I don't know why but I have always felt close to Sweden even if I'm from a country so so far away Turkey. And Sweden was one of my favourites in this year too but I really think that Italy should have won this time. To everyone who are thinking that the juries are biased of the pop songs: Is not that actually. It's the cycle of the songs who are winning. For example, the previous years we had a pop winning song, then next year we have a ballad winning song, next year we have pop or rock winning song, then next year we have again a ballad winning song ect. And I think that this cycle still continues.
