This is probably my favorite song off the whole album, and this live performance is absolutely incredibly. James kills it on the vocals!!! I especially love that the main connecting thread between the proggy/heavy first half and the more melodic second half is the chorus, which changes to be so much more emotional in the second half, especially with the soaring guitar behind it. That's absolutely one of the best guitar riffs ever made and everyone who reads this knows it
Again congrats on the Alien. I would expect nothing less from a supergroup of the top musicians in the world.
i often feel emotional ups and downs just by listening to DTs songs!!! the live version even better!!!
Dream Theater forever ❤️🤟🇧🇷
Don't leave me now, don't leave me now
I know that it's tearing you apart
Don't leave me now, don't leave me now
Come alive
Wow James sounds great here 👌 the whole band is just super tight nice job dudes definitely going to be seeing these live at some point.
Looks like Moses playing David Gilmour!!! Love it !!!
Mangini took Dream Theater on level up to be in this 'Rush' territory with his v unique drumming, with Portnoy , they will be back to the same typical level which is great too, but definitely, less creative and more predictable but in a good way because not every 'predictable' is bad , I wish they Kept both drummers like what King Crimson did with Gavin and Pat
every time I listen to Dream Theater songs, I always get goosebumps, the arrangements are extraordinary. greetings from 🇲🇨 🤘
If you have a plan to come to Thailand, no matter how much the ticket cost, I'll be at the front row for sure!!!
And yeah I was there in front of J. Petrucci
Such a great memory
"Maculate, there is no cure" is such a tough ass line. I love Dream Theater!
