How loud is the hot lap? I have the V&H and I can't ride without earplugs. I'm going to wrap the baffle to hopefully quiet it down a bit. Surprised I haven't been stopped by police... Yet.
It’s definitely louder than my custom Yoshimura but it’s not so bad I’d worry about complaints. I’d say it’s quieter than the Yoshimura TRC for a ruckus if you’ve heard those.
@@xtramediumminimoto I haven't. It would be nice if exhaust manufacturers put out decibel measurements so you know what you're getting before you drop a few hundred dollars.
Man. You're handy around bikes especially wiring things like that projector headlight among other things. I did the AC to DC and my gas gage was not working correctly or showing empty. I removed the add a fuse ac to DC conversion and the gas gauge works again. Did it exactly as that short video clip you have. Would love to add that headlight though.
@@xtramediumminimoto kinda thinking it must of been coincidence seeing that no one else appeared to have that problem. I'll give it another go and see what happens.
You were right. It's unrelated to the conversion. Happened again today while riding the Navi on a glorious 80 degree day in Detroit. I'm gonna take a look at that sending unit tomorrow.
Sorry man I’m still learning YT so I missed this comment until now. We’re you able to check the float in the tank? Maybe getting stuck/caught on something inside the tank.
@@xtramediumminimoto It turned out to be the wiring harness behind the headlight. I might have been too eager to put on that mounting bracket for the windscreen and somehow I trapped that harness in turn putting "a pulling apart" tension on it. I push the wire and harness back in. It should be replaced but it's been more than a month and my gas gauge is still working. 👍
The backing plates came from Philip Zuniga in one of the Fb groups. The washers are just generic from eBay, and the lights are actually just universal license plate lighted bolts.
This one has an eBay riser on it but it’s from steady garage, using the Vortex option. The teal bike in my other videos has the woodcraft option. www.steadygarage.com/products/chimera-u-bomb-handlebar-clipon-adapter-grom-zuma-ruckus?_pos=1&_sid=9123a3f94&_ss=r

Let me know if you have further questions. I like the wider U-bomb and woodcraft options best for Navi but all can work.
The brushed aluminum looks great!
Thank you!
Looking forward to what’s to come! Thanks for sharing
Thank you! Now that the weather is better I hope to have some better videos outside of my garage and driveway! Haha

If you’re local in Denver I’d be glad to try and help out. I haven’t had any issues with my gas gauge, yours may be unrelated to the conversion.
