- Today in the workshop Ben and Lois have been completing this special commissioned piece. This Heirloom quality Woodlander has some amazing materials that make a super special knife that not only looks the part but will have great performance in the field.
The use of some Damasteel and high grade Ironwood makes a super hard use knife that will be a heirloom quality bushcraft knife.
Hope you enjoy seeing what we have been working on and thanks for watching.

Love the combination of desert ironwood and green liners - really striking.

Beautifully crafted knife and sheath as always. It will be an heirloom for sure. Great to use those saved up bits and pieces for a special job. Well done to you both. Regards Andrew 🦘🦘😁👍
Gotta love desert ironwood and a nice patterned steel, looks great guys 👍
That’s a stunning looking blade made love it overall great looking with the sheath. Atb Wullie ✊🏻🏴
I put my own scales on a stainless steel blank blade that I got from Helle. I wanted to put an additional hole to secure the scales as it was only supplied with one hole, but could not get any drill to go through the stainless steel tang. Did you have issues such as this when drilling the tang? Would be good to see a video from Lois to see how she makes the sheath with a built-in steel rod holder.
Beautiful!! I already have one of your Woodlanders when might these be for sale ? Put me on a list!! Brett Cumming here in the states.
Sweeet Knife!!
Not my style, but absolutely well put together Ben and Lois lovely craftsmanship. 👍
What is your style? And why?
Would like to ask what type of blade tip would be better for a multi purpose outdoor knife. Would a drop tip or a straight tip to tip scandi type blade be better, I do a lot of meat cutting with my knife but want to invest on a new knife and not sure which type to go for
