I agree on having a contract. Professional Photographers of America have customizable contracts for members. I disagree on delivery systems. I deliver in person, which is a great sales opportunity. Pricing is a hotly argued point. A general consensus is not ot put prices on your website. List the session fee(s) is OK. Talk about everything else in a person to person consultation.
I haven't done a lot of in person sales. I see a lot of photographers having success with it though.
Thank you Adrian! Great video and very informative. Big ups for not making it 20 minutes too.
Thanks Tom! Appreciate you for watching!

Thanks brother! Appreciate the support💯🤝
Great Video and very informative. Out of curiosity I want your opinion. I charge a base fee for portrait work and wanted to know how you manage locations shoot in terms of outside locations vs. studio. When shooting outside are you doing the foot work by getting a permit for an outdoor are? Before you stated using your home as a studio, did you rent out a studio? How did you pass on that expense to the client?
I never get permits for outside sessions. I guess it depends on where you live...I've heard some photographers say they always need them. And I've never payed rent for a studio, I just use my home studio.
I need that contract info ASAP!
Check out my contract video on my channel!
What lens are you using to record these videos? Really liking the aperture! 👍🏾
Sigma 16mm 1.4
How do you get your clients to sign the contracts? Any electronic suggestions?
I use ShootProof for sending contracts to clients. They can sign electronically. It's super easy to use!
