I’d add Glam Glow mud masks or the Boscia peel off masks. They did absolutely nothing but were all the rage for a time, then completely fell off the map. Nobody talks about face masks anymore!
Yes the Glam Glow masks! Wild they were SO expensive! I used to always get the free samples at Sephora because no way I was paying $50 for that mask!
Jsyk Boscia closed down. They have a another brand that's still around/funded by them but the Boscia line is done.
I’m 26 and when I was 16 my dad took me to IMATS in NYC 😭😭😭 so nostalgic. He actually asked me if it still goes on ❤️😭
Urban decay naked palette that was a game changer. Also, Morphy was not the first to come out with those big pan 20 pan pallets. You gotta remember coastal sense and BH cosmetics.

I remember those sisters always had the costal scents palettes - I bought the dupe off of eBay because BH/Costal Scents didn't have the best shipping to Canada! I wonder if they still make videos haha! I feel like they were named after MAC shadows? The channels I mean. So crazy to think of all the RUclipsrs I used to watch that I know nothing about now!
I wanted that aquatic collection SO BAD. I still want it lol. The droplets on the packaging, gorgeous! I’m no longer a broke college student and wish they’d bring that packaging back.
I think this was the first collection I was able to afford one maybe two lipsticks. I’ll trade u if u have the RiRi woo red from the riri

i really can't believe revlon won't release their lip butters again. i would buy a complete vault in a minute.
I think about the Lip Butters every day too lol. Every “what product do you wish came back” discussion on Reddit always featured the Lip Butters. Pink Truffle was actually one of the first lipsticks I purchased, ever. I don’t think I’ve quite found a dupe of both colour and formula yet.
This was an awesome video concept and as a longtime viewer,so glad to still have you and your content in this space! Vividly remember the crackle nails, clarisonic and best believe I had a pink truffle lip butter 😂 i feel like if they revamped the packaging and did a relaunch they would absolutely kill it with that product in today’s hybrid lipgloss/lipstick/lip balm landscape

who remembers hunting down the original limited edition launch of the Milani Amore Matte liquid lipsticks before they became a permanent part of Milani's line??? Probably 10 years ago now? I remember shipping some of these lipsticks to a lady who DM'd me on reddit because she couldn't find them at her local drugstores, lol.
Coastal Scents was my Roman Empire, not Morphe. The 88 Shimmer Palette, I think it was called. I genuinely never understood how Morphe took off when all of their products could be found on Alibaba, years prior. Later on, I know they had more custom palettes but, initially, they just stuck their name on cheap, generic, prepackaged eyeshadow palettes.

Everyone's been in such a nostalgic mood, this would make a wonderful YT tag. I'd love to see a "My Roman Empires" beauty series from different beauty RUclipsrs. Plus, it's cool to hear how gurus with diverse skin tones created a path from the not-so-inclusive early days. That's how I found your channel 7 or so years ago; I was looking for lippie recommendations for tan skin.

I was one of those that collected all the Mac special limited editions. I still have them and have let some go and sold on eBay, but wow there are some I won’t part with. I want Mac to come back. I miss it. Revlon did kill it with the lip crayons. I miss them too. Love this video. Thanks for sharing. ❤

I still have black dahlia and metal black dahlia from OCC! I don’t use them, but I can’t bring myself to get rid of them. Also my Mac collections! Hello Kitty, Venomous Villians, and Heatherette! Honestly this whole video has me in my feels and now I want to just go look at my old makeup! My bf and some of my friends can’t understand why I won’t get rid of old expired makeup! The nostalgia!!!!
This was such a fun video! I remember for a short time drugstores hunting when collections went on clearance 😆 Back when clearance was 70%-90% off instead of $9.49 regular price $9.99. 😑

UD Naked palette, Coatal Scents / BH 88 palettes, Mac Paintpot in Painterly, UD Primer Potion, "Easy, Breezy, Beautiful Covergirl" - I still hear it in my head.
Just used my Clarisonic this week ❤ skin needed a deep clean.
Stocked up when they went on clearance.
I wish I had done that. I found brush heads on Amazon but they are def not the same as actual Clarisonic brush heads
How is it still working?! My battery kept dying and I read online that this was a known fault. It was out of warranty so I had to just recycle it. That was in 2018 and I'm still heartbroken 😢

I started my channel back in '09/'10 and i came across you because you were one of the few melaninated people in the beauty space, thank you for being here💖 WNW's "nightcap" was my all time favorite lipstick. I finally threw mines out and settled with MAC's paramont but it's just not the same so i bought a new nightcap on ebay! I havent opened it yet but i'm excited to wear it. I remember being soooo estatic finding this shade and I would do drugstore hopping for these as well as the BOGO free shea moisture hair products. Those scavenger hunts and deals were crucial to my college years!
Clarisonic was the first hyped device for hair. It was for ten years ago what the Dyson hair dryer is for today. Everyone wanted one. Marc Jacobs Blacquer crayon gel highliner and palettes Burn to Run and Perfection are my Roman empire.
UD should have made BTR a permanent palette. Colourpop x Shaila is my favorite of all collabs to this day.
The gel highliner from MJ are more than just Roman Empire. They were the only eyeliners I could use without allergies. I still miss them and I never found anything comparable.
What a great concept! I too am so sad about the MAC LE collections. Funny, I was a HS/jobless college kid back then who couldn’t afford the collections and couldn’t WAIT to grow up and be able to purchase them. Now, when I can, these collections no longer exist 😢 I agree, if they came back out, I would be in lineeeee and they would hit 100% 😅

I still use my Clarisonic…I stocked up on brushes when they announced they were shutting down. I took a break for a couple months and actually noticed a difference so I picked it right back up. Not sure what I’ll do once I’ve gone through my supply. 😢

I have been watching you for so long. lol wow. I remember seeing your nail polish collection. this was such a good video. It was so much fun. I pretty much can't forget the obsession with the naked palette. Myth was way too ashy for me and I knew it. my comparison was candy yum yum as far as pinks. but because of Myth I really wanted to find a nude lipstick that fit my skin tone. lol I remember hunting down the wet n wild holiday collections. some were so awesome.

The revlon matte balm in shameless was my bad btch color. I found a similar dupe in the sephora collection matte lipstick in orchid, buts its ever so slightly cooler
