Timo has been a constant in this sport for as long as I have been playing. He is the icon that all non-chinese players aspire to be and has inspired more than one generation of players both at the amature and proffesional level. It is truelly a sad day for Table Tennis. I am only one amoungst many that wish they could have watched you play in person.

Probably the most beautiful modern era technique in terms of non Chinese. Style, although my favorite players were Vladi Samsonov and Jan ove Waldner but they are more classic blockers all-rounders than Timo
