You are very inspiring. Slow and steady is a great approach. You don’t cut corners and you are not afraid to take steps backwards to get something right. You take your time to clean things before moving forward. It is just fun to watch you work. Thanks for the entertainment over the years.
If you ever find yourself questioning your work or the time it takes to complete that work, just know you’re better than 90% of people in the world with similar aspirations. Keep doing what you’re doing. We don’t have many content creators in our part of the country. Every time you post I learn something and get inspired to do better. As always, nice job Austin! I subscribe to a lot of Chanel’s but very few have the patience, skill and talent that you put into the projects/videos.
Corbeau seats are the bomb (I believe it's pronounced CORE-BOW). I have a pair of the Bajas in my '92 pickup and they are so comfortable and supportive.
Corbeau means crow in French, you say it like Kor-Bo. Love your videos man. At 37yo you inspired me to go back to school to get a degree with the goal to open my own shop in the future. Cheers from France!
Hello from Pakistan! I just watched this video on crafting the gear console and seats for the FJ, and I'm beyond impressed. Your dedication and craftsmanship shine through in every detail. It's amazing to witness the transformation of FJ. Keep up the fantastic work buddy! Your passion for this project is truly inspiring and resonates across borders. Can't wait to see the next steps in this incredible build. Cheers from across the globe!
The greatest sculptor in the world was Michelangelo Buonarroti... After this video, I discovered that you are his undisputed legal heir... I have been eagerly waiting for your videos to see the extent of your skill and patience in creating designs... May God grant you success in everything that is beautiful in this design... I can't wait to see it ready
you should put some led back lighting inside the cut outs in the center console - would just be a really cool touch. Love this build - the fabrication is on par - by far my favorite episode
I see no reason to worry about the time spent on making the center console. Everything you do and how you do it is superb. You are Michelangelo, for metalworking! Geetings from Croatia
Waiting two weeks for the next video sucks I actually had to search for your channel to make sure I didn’t miss one lol. But I understand why it takes so long and appreciate the work that goes into the build ! It’s a trade off that we as viewers are going to have to get used to some times
So much fun to watch you chanel. Youtake the time to mock up your fabrication, the cutting & welding everything up. You have taken the time to build your shop as you need new & upgraded equipment Keep up the great work. I will keep watching
Perfection doesn’t happen over night that’s why I enjoy watching you and Devin you both always put crazy attention to detail and I really respect that.
I hold my hands up and admit to mentioning the speakers myself, but now after this video with the seats and console in place puts all into perspective. Like your work and shouldn't have questioned the design 🫡
Don’t beat yourself up brother. Doing custom and highly designed things always takes forever the first time. We're all guilty of it. Loving the content
make sure you have a good amount of travel left in your t-case shifter lever when its at the furthest forward and rear gears. when I did a link on my doubler in my samurai similar to that I had issues with the doubler popping out of gear because of how much it moved. with the urethane mounts its not going to be as bad as mine was I'm sure, but if its close to bottoming as is, it might pop it out. but bro, that console is phenomenal
As always totally worth the wait. Really enjoy just seeing it all come together. Looks fantastic. This is going to be a great rig when it is completed. Austin you really should consider putting these on display at SEMA. Perhaps even a special SEMA build. I know that you have used all the right bits and parts. To make this a strong and dependable vehicle. I just hope you use it for practical off road trips. Not bouncing it off the rocks and such. So it destroys all the work that you have invested in it.
Incredible work mate. Truly inspiring. I’m putting together an fj40 swb. And the designs you come up with change all my thinking. That console is sensational not only in design but also how you assemble it. Mind blown. Thank you.
Just a suggestion, but you’re talented enough to expand your mastery of materials; maybe use fiberboard or other lightweight materials to make the console. That’s a lot of heavy metal for the console, maybe you could save some weight using another material. Love your content! Keep up the great work! 👍
Personally I would prefer a console vault instead of the cup holders. Cups in that location will likely encounter a lot of elbow contact. A lockable vault in a vehicle that accessible is a valuable thing to have. Lots of other options for cup holders even if single ones would be necessary. You really do come up with some great ideas and work around solutions.
Austin! Great video, not gonna lie the wait was killing me but at the end it was totally worth the wait, love the console design but if I can give you my opinion, I think you should add to the console an arm rest you can flip down when you need it and flip up when you just need it out of the way, trust me, an arm rest is always useful on short and long rides haha either way, great video as always, keep at it
Looking great bud! Some jobs you think are gonna be quick end up taking forever, and jobs that you think are gonna take forever end up not being that bad. You do a good job.
Austin, this is so cool! As excited as I am to see this thing finished, I'm in no hurry because just watching the build happen is cool also! Thanks for taking us along!
thank you for being honest i like seeing real world builds and all the unforeseen things that pop up and how you solve them this is a great channel fj is coming out awesome can't wait to see it done thank you for the videos
Bro this video was sick. I loving the interior series more than the outside not gonna lie. the little vent ports you got on the driver side of the center console, you should add some mesh in there to cover up the innards of that area. Would give it a clean look, but let it breathe. GREAT VIDEO BRO!!!!
Not too sure on the type of wheeling youll be doing, but if alot of bouncing is involved, look into the PRP seats. They hold you in well while hitting major obstacles. Also for the extra couple dollars you can add heat to the seats ( we know it gets cold there lol). Just a future upgrade to keep in mind. Looks great other wise!
Bro I need you for two weeks !! You killed that man you have some super good taste !! I want to extend my center jump seat the trans tunnel to dash and make some extra storage space and maybe like a 110 plug and some usb chargers and maybe like a switch panel or that aux beam thing would be sweet too! Anyway it looks bad ass!
Well now you’re just showing off. Excellent Choice on the seats. Definitely worthy the time to fit them properly. Love watching your videos and following your thought processes and execution. Have you decided on a color yet. You may have mentioned it but I missed it.
Hey Austin you should definitely think about building some kind of armrest . That’s one thing I hate about driving my geo tracker is no armrest . But killer work on this .
Just a suggestion. Since you take your time to do quality work, for the outro you should show the work in detail slowly going over it with the camera so we can see it in better detail.
Another outstanding episode! You are a craftsmen to say the least! I think the beau on the seats is pronounced bo. I don't know how you would do it and make it look good, but I would be nervous as hell having that fuel tank in the vehicle. I just don't know how you would make a fire blanket look good. Maybe a fire extinguisher behind the seat programmed to go off if the tank goes up in flames?
I feel ya man. My wife says that It always takes me longer than what I think it will. She say take what I think multiply it by 3 and add 4. 🤨🤣😂 great job. looks really good.
Nowadays, when everything is about quantity over quality, it's refreshing and inspiring to see someone take pride in their craftsmanship. Seeing that all-steel center console with all those bolts looks amazing btw.
Doesn’t matter how long it takes. In the end it looks incredible. You seriously do crazy good work. I don’t know how you have the patience to do this stuff. Looks absolutely badass man. Keep it up!
Interior looks absolutely incredible, bro. Loving the work and attention to detail! One concern, though: The left bracket on the driver's seat seems a bit too wide and "in the way". Could probably knick a knee or leg when you're entering the rig; especially with those sharp corners. Maybe take a look at that? Or do you plan to cover/carpet it?
It's looking good, and your attention to detail will take time. It should be worth it in the end. looking forward to the next step. Just wondered if you considered a T bar for the shift when you were putting it together.
I'm a french Canadian and as i Read Corbeau, that mean raven in english, like the black leather of the seats, you should Say "corbo". Btw, Nice build...
Corbeau is pronounced pretty much like Cor-Bow. I'm surprised you haven't built your own powder coating oven, it's super easy and cheap using the Inkbird type PID kits, or even using an old oven controller. I built mine with internal space of 800 x 800 x 1600mm and use it daily. A man wth your skills could knock one up in no time.
Amigo, saludos y felicitaciones por tu proyecto. A mi fj le hice reubicar el tanque de gasolina debajo en la parte trasera. No te imaginas los problemas q te va a traer ese tanque debajo de esas bellas butacas
Hey Austin, I was one that said to hurry up jokingly but I was only kidding lol, But I know how long the videos take and I just really like what you do so it makes me really look forward to the content you upload.
You are very inspiring. Slow and steady is a great approach. You don’t cut corners and you are not afraid to take steps backwards to get something right. You take your time to clean things before moving forward. It is just fun to watch you work. Thanks for the entertainment over the years.
Awesome! Thanks for watching!!

You should never apologize for how long it takes to get your projects done. You do fantastic work. Keep up the great videos. Thank you
It takes time because you are a perfectionist. There are a lot of RUclipsrs that have built very nice rigs but you are second to none.
Corbeau seats are the bomb (I believe it's pronounced CORE-BOW). I have a pair of the Bajas in my '92 pickup and they are so comfortable and supportive.
Awesome design on the console, looks industrial cool ! Enjoy watching your build. I hope your brother is doing well and family. Godspeed 🇺🇲🛻🇺🇲
Thanks! Cam is doing good!!
Corbeau means crow in French, you say it like Kor-Bo. Love your videos man. At 37yo you inspired me to go back to school to get a degree with the goal to open my own shop in the future. Cheers from France!
Austin, your content is some of the best on RUclips, and your work is top notch! Love the builds! 👍
Thank you!!

I would go for black hardware in the center console. Looks great!!
The greatest sculptor in the world was Michelangelo Buonarroti... After this video, I discovered that you are his undisputed legal heir... Looks great Austin. I like the vents. Throw an led in there.
Friggin' sick center console man! The whole interior!
Thanks man!
Don't rush It looks great. Your craftsmanship is on another level.
you should put some led back lighting inside the cut outs in the center console - would just be a really cool touch.
Love this build - the fabrication is on par - by far my favorite episode
I thought you were gonna weld up center console, but the bolts give it a nice industrial, almost rivet like appearance. Very nice.
I see no reason to worry about the time spent on making the center console.
Everything you do and how you do it is superb.
You are Michelangelo, for metalworking!
Geetings from Croatia

Definitely worth the extra time. Everything came out really cool. Well done 👏🏼
So much fun to watch you chanel. Youtake the time to mock up your fabrication, the cutting & welding everything up.

Keep up the great work. I will keep watching
Thank you I appreciate that!
Great work. Never rush perfection 👌

You are a truly lucky man to have so much at your disposal.
I love watching your videos.
Such a real man's world vibe
the central console is bad ass!
this project is going great imho
Dude your fabrication skills are incredible, cant wait to see this thing finnished
Don’t beat yourself up brother. Doing custom and highly designed things always takes forever the first time. We're all guilty of it. Loving the content
To stiffen the sear brackets up just lay a 3/4”x3/3” angle “v” facing down and stitch weld.
make sure you have a good amount of travel left in your t-case shifter lever when its at the furthest forward and rear gears. when I did a link on my doubler in my samurai similar to that I had issues with the doubler popping out of gear because of how much it moved. with the urethane mounts its not going to be as bad as mine was I'm sure, but if its close to bottoming as is, it might pop it out.
but bro, that console is phenomenal
Thanks!! Yeah I hope it will be ok! There is a little extra travel!
Those seats are awesome, and your seat brackets turned out perfect!! That console is next level for sure!!! Awesome build!!!
It's a really cool build and fabrication takes time. I wish I was as patient as you are.
Thank you!!
Everything takes longer when youre a perfectionist. End results are very satisfying though. Looking awesome.
As always totally worth the wait. Really enjoy just seeing it all come together. Looks fantastic. This is going to be a great rig when it is completed. Finally! 😜 That's the video I was waiting the most this week! Will you put rear overfenders? Btw, bery pleases with this week progress.
Just a suggestion, but you’re talented enough to expand your mastery of materials; maybe use fiberboard or other lightweight materials to make the console. That’s a lot of heavy metal for the console, maybe you could save some weight using another material. Love your content! Keep up the great work! 👍
Cool work, I love the attention to detail, "like I said". 2 1/2 weeks for that is a lot faster than it would take me.
all looks amazing. only thing i would say is if you are planning on having a full cage i would have build the seat mounts to attach to the cage.
Personally I would prefer a console vault instead of the cup holders. Cups in that location will likely encounter a lot of elbow contact. A lockable vault in a vehicle that accessible is a valuable thing to have. Lots of other options for cup holders even if single ones would be necessary. You really do come up with some great ideas and work around solutions.
its been a while , great you back , watching you from Mozambique good job
Console looks awesome, build looks great your a true craftsman.
Wish you and Devin would do a collaborative build together.

You are building a really awesome 40 Can't wait to see it finished. Great work!!
Austin, this is so cool! As excited as I am to see this thing finished, I'm in no hurry because just watching the build happen is cool also! Thanks for taking us along!

Hey thanks!! I might do mesh there, although I do like it as is!
Its an AVR for sure , i was waiting on this video for so long
May have took time but it really looks great & shows off your Talent,Great Job!!
Bro's on a whole 'nother level of creative fabrication 😅! Good work, dude! I'd love a shop like yours, Great content.
Not too sure on the type of wheeling youll be doing, but if alot of bouncing is involved, look into the PRP seats. They hold you in well while hitting major obstacles. Like Abom
Hell yeah
That came out awesome! Totally worth taking your time on it!
As always a great unique well done job
The only thing for safety is having the gas tank underneath the passenger seats
You made great use of the space you had, great job!
Looks real good. Crazy how professional your stuff is. Keep it up!
Can the shifter be recessed? Asking for a friend... I think we all agree , your design and fab skilz are next level.
Looks great. In my opinion the screws would look better if they were the same color as the center console. Really impressive.
I look forward to your videos. This cruiser is turning out amazing!
cool stuff man cant wait to see it come together and driving soon
Brother, great project, always continue with perfection, amazing work 👏👏👏
Looks amazing!! Thanks for the video!
Perfect time for sound deadening material!
I bought very similar rails and I had to weld on a tab to mine too. Kinda glad I'm not the only one 🤣
Now you need some WeatherTech floor mats.
Another outstanding episode! You are a craftsmen to say the least! I think the beau on the seats is pronounced bo. Looks bad ass Austin. Can’t wait to see it finished. Have a fantastic holiday bud
Thanks! Happy holidays!
Those seats (KOR-BO) look clean. Save their giant logo embroidered front & center

nice work man, i will put black bolt on center console. look stealth is good 😮

The detail and the quality of work I wish i had the skill you do😊😊😊 amazing has me hooked😊😊😊
Man, you do awesome work. That console came out mint!
Thanks man!
Interior looks absolutely incredible, bro. Loving the work and attention to detail!

I agree with you , perfection cannot be rushed.
Keep up the good work.
Always enjoy the videos,
Dang Bro! You one of those guys that really take pride always “A clean build “ awesome content. Keep it up
It’s pronounced Core-bow. And great video, my landy defender is getting a longer shopping list 😅
You need a fab shop for sure man you got skill must run in the family.
I'm a french Canadian and as i Read Corbeau, that mean raven in english, like the black leather of the seats, you should Say "corbo". Btw, Nice build...
This is amazing,
Am learning a lot. University of Austin.
man, you are a real pro.
Core-bow (bow tie)is the seat name i believe. Nice work
Corbeau is pronounced pretty much like Cor-Bow.

Your an absolute weapon mate, killa work. It's unbelievable how long things take to make but just the nature of the beast, keep up the good work !!!!!
Great build! And love how you take your time and explain how you do things. I was wondering. What about the seat belts?
Looks great Austin - what about an arm rest though?
It's been awhile. You are still doing absolute quality work. Keep doing what you do! Awesome Work!
Excellent work 👍
Awesome work 👍🏽
Looks awesome!! You do amazing work, love the videos!
Hey Austin, I was one that said to hurry up jokingly but I was only kidding lol, But I know how long the videos take and I just really like what you do so it makes me really look forward to the content you upload.
Awesome work , you should be proud.
