  • Cutout paper animations like this take a lot of time, it is quite the process... I now share all in my (full 5-hour class) on Skillshare, take it for FREE with this link: skl.sh/3DCt5tGbut
    If you're willing to commit and do this technique well it looks really great, especially when animated in three-dimensional space like in this example.
    This technique uses a Cricut cutting machine, with designs based on rotoscoped reference footage in Photoshop. You can learn how to do this technique too, I made an in-depth course explaining everything (currently with 25% off): www.animatorto...

    You have a lot of patience I just like a day ago I made my longest animation it was 10 seconds long and had 49 frames and ran at I think 8 or 9 fps I'm trying to start taking my time on animations.

    • @Animatortor
      @Animatortor  3 года назад

      That's great to hear that you want to start taking more time with your animations, I am trying to do that too... I have a really bad habit of animating too fast... sometimes it's a good thing... but taking your time and increasing the frame rate will make things look so much smoother :)

      Thank you so much, you are more than welcome. I am so pleased that your 8yr old is getting involved, stop motion is so great for children. With paper obviously you can make shapes and just cut them out by hand too... you don't need my fancy machine and software to have fun. Hope you are able to create lots of lovely things... I think you followed me on Instagram too (I remember your profile pic) - link me up to your animations, would love to see 😍

      Oh wonderful!! I am so pleased other people are creating animations with this method too - excellent stuff!! How do you find the Silhouette Cameo? @@Animatortor Hmmm.. I reckon it's the same as the Cricut although it also does vinyl. I've got quite an old version and it's a tiny bit temperamental but then again I'm a little impatient and not particularly respectful of it (oops).
