Never understood why these sorts of videos don't just do a crash-cut A/B comparison, flicking back and forth between recordings of the same piece being played...it's so obviously the only way to get a fair (and audible) comparison, and it's not as if it's a tough editing job...
Also, why not do the same with both guitars with BOTH sets of pins to compare if the material makes an audible difference?

Because it doesn’t make an audible difference.

Adam is a hell of a pioneer. I have an Ibanez with a bunch of FU-Tone parts, and the difference is unreal. My Ibanez rings like a bell now. Before, it was OK, but Brass tone is just gorgeous. I highly recommend Adam and FU-Tone to anyone seeking a superior tone.

Think of it like the cushion from tennis shoes to high heels better transfer of vibes without loss of energy but sometimes that's a good thing for tone this definitely changes the sound

Would've preferred less compression in the audio

Truthfully eveything going on with the top of an acoustic guitar is much more impactful to tone than the back and sides... I had two acoustic guitars, both Blueridge models, where the builder actually makes the identical guitar just one with laminate back and sides and one with solid wood, all other specs equal, a BR40 and BR140 and I put bone bridge pins in the laminate back and sides model and it easily outshined the all solid wood model.... Most shop with plastic pins.... Go with bone, brass or titanium to brighten the tone, go with wooden pins, like Ebony to warm the tone, both will give you better sustain than plastic.

Sounds better, better ring and tone. Very surprising. Pretty impressive.😊

Extinction Rebellion inlays in the fingerboard? Are you not wäre of it?

Throw away the bridge pins and string your steel-string acoustic from *inside* the body, with an M4 hex nut at the end of each string. Solid, clear, big sound. And the cheapest mod you'll ever make.

bridge pins.... god damn bridge pins now?? will this bs ever stop? the tone wood was bad enough, but at least with an acoustic it may (may) hold some (some) weight to it. this is just rediculous.

I am hearing no difference whatsoever. It makes sense though that a piece of metal will last longer than plastic, by preventing the pins from developing grooves against the strings.

And a lot cheaper than Martin metal pins.
