Visigoth "Warrior Queen" from the album "Conqueror's Oath".
The hammers of heavy metal ring loud and true in the mountain halls of Salt Lake City, Utah! Standing in staunch opposition to any presumptuous notion of 'reinventing the wheel' or 'redefining the genre', Visigoth instead dedicate themselves to worshipping at the ageless altars of heavy metal with a singular focus on writing music inspired by their favourite records. Whether whipped into a frenzy ignited by classic USPM or NWOBHM anthems, or pensively meditating on traditional epic heavy metal or weighty doom-inspired moments, these Salt City hessians wear their influences proudly on their sleeves.
In 2015, the band released their debut album The Revenant King, earning an underground following worldwide with their impassioned, electric live show. They brought the battle to the stages of the highly esteemed Keep It True, Frost & Fire, and Pounding Metal festivals, playing alongside Metal Blade legacy acts and inspirations Cirith Ungol and Omen. With their new 2017 long-player Conqueror's Oath, Visigoth stays true to the title and conquers the sophomore slump blues with 8 iron-forged anthems of pure metal magick guaranteed to satiate the hunger of the rock'n'roll hordes! Returning to the depths of the Boar's Nest in their hometown of Salt Lake City to record once again with engineer extraordinaire Andy Patterson (Subrosa, Deathblow, Dreadnought, et al), Conqueror's Oath was hammerforged in a whirlwind month of mayhem and mastered by Dave Otero of Flatline Audio (Satan's Host, Nightbringer, Khemmis, et al). Immortalized by breathtaking cover art created by none other than underground album art legend Kris Verwimp (whose work has graced records by Absu, Bewitched, Desaster, Horna, Moonsorrow, Skullview, Arkona, and many, many more) in proper swords-and-sorcery fashion, Conqueror's Oath stands tall on the field of battle, serving as a gauntleted fist in the face of non-believers; The Revenant King may have introduced Visigoth to skeptical audiences, but Conqueror's Oath will leave no doubt in any metal maniac's mind that this band is here to up the irons and defend the faith!
Hell-bent for leather and heeding the call of the road, the Utah-based barbarians will be summoning their sonic storm throughout Europe in February and March following the record's release, including appearances at the Metal Assault and Hell Over Hammaburg festivals. Truly a band that thrives in a live setting, Visigoth are eager to prove their metal mettle and crush any stage put before them - be it the open air of a festival rig or the murky obscurity of a hidden dive bar, you can count on this American quintet to bring the thunder! Prepare for the onslaught of Salt City Steel! - Видеоклипы
This is how true heavy power metal is played...
This feels like it was made in 2007 but was meant to sound like it was made in 1984, but it is actually from 2018. Good stuff.
As much as i love death metal, it's great and refreshing to hear dudes that still actually sing. this is great! will buy.
Same here, good is good.
Often obituary and death brings me back to Visigoth
Eternal flame of heavy metal worship never dies!
If you've never seen them live you don't know how badass they really are.
Voke Videos plus they cover Randy!
I've never seen them live, yet I own 3 of their shirts haha.
His singing on the Caladan Brood , masterpiece is .....words cannot express the majestic quality of this most awesome voice.
I know the lead singer, came here cause of him and I am. Not. Disappointed. He has the most amazing lungs ever ❤️
The gods have finally anwsered my prayers, a new Visigoth album!
Shout out from Salt Lake, making Utah proud as usual!
Absolutely perfect. Visigoth just keeps kicking ass. I knew they would deliver. Looking forward to hearing the whole thing!
Not a bad track on the album. \m/
WOW !..These guys are FANTASTIC!!!
@@WilliamMonroe13 Always have been
3:45 - 4:51, best part :)
She feels the frost and the fire
She feels the roar of desire
Feed her blazing will to live
She'll never fall, never falter
She spills her blood on the altar
Sacrifice for victory
War and destiny
Above the winter battlefields
Thunder sings her name
[Chorus]
Warrior Queen, forged in steel
Tempered in the flames of war
Fierce and free, fearless conqueror
Goddess of the metal storm
Warrior Queen
She is the throat of the lion
She is the teeth of defiance
Bared against the skeins of fate
She is the wings of the raven
Against the winds of enslavement
On the fields she stands alone
She's come to claim the throne
Across the winter battlefield
She rides with swords and chains
[Chorus]
Warrior Queen, forged in steel
Tempered in the flames of war
Fierce and free, fearless conqueror
Goddess of the metal storm
Warrior Queen
[Guitar solo; Leeland Campana]
Cold silence rolls across
The fields like a parting kiss
And sorrow fills her aching heart
She marches through the fog
All hope and glory lost
But she came all this way
And she raises her fist to the sky
Hail the coming of the conqueror
Hail the forging of the warrior
She stands alone
[Chorus]
Warrior Queen, forged in steel
Tempered in the flames of war
Fierce and free, fearless conqueror
Goddess of the metal storm
Warrior Queen
Where has this band been my whole life
I like it. One of the best newer American metal bands out there.
Love it, it reminds me of a 90s action cartoon intro, like Skeleton Warriors.
Great as always!!
I have seen that "Hammer Forged" , "Vatt'ghern (by Steel and Silver)" and "Traitor's Gate"
are on this album. Those ones are very good too. Long live Visigoth! \m/
Hail from Canada.
Love it!!
That chorus near end is unexpected really, like warriors with swords who give oath, well done Visigoth, well done, must listen more of one time this song
I'm addicted !!! Visigoth in my veins!!!!
This song is nothing short of amazing. I can't wait to hear the full album.
I can't stop hitting replay on this one
My body really isn't ready for a new album from you guys.
AWESOME and EPIC!!! \m/ The part after the solo guitar section is majestic!
Fantastic! Hails from Poland !
Perfect!!!
I love it!
Brilliant!
3:20 songs goes to epic levels
This particular track sounds less Solstice esque epic heavy metal than the last album and relatively more conventionally NWOBHM influenced but I'm digging this production upgrade which gives everything a lot more punch 'n crunch. Those bridge leads and the chorus they lead into are fucking immense though; Jake Rogers is the new J.D. Kimball (Omen) for sure, such masterful control and enunciation.
FunerealObsession agree, although the snare could be turned down a smidge for mine
That's what I thought at first but after a couple of times it gets better and better
Awesome! Great job guys!
The beggining is weak, but the whole song... JUST DAMN... That's gold!
Alarico I 370 (or 375) - 410 AD) was the first King of the Visigoths from 395-410, son (or paternal grandson) of chieftain Rothestes. Alarico I is best known for his sack of Rome in 410, which marked a decisive event in the decline of the Roman Empire.
Alarico I began his career under the Goth soldiers Gainas and later joined the Roman army. Alaric's first appearance was as the leader of a mixed band of Goths and allied peoples who invaded Thrace in 391 and were stopped by the half-Vandal Roman General Stilicho. In 394 he led a Gothic force of 20,000 that helped the Eastern Roman Emperor Theodosius defeat the Frankish usurper Arbogast at the Battle of Frigidus. Despite sacrificing around 10,000 of his men, Alaric received little recognition from the Emperor. Disappointed, he left the army and was elected reiks of the Visigoths in 395, and marched toward Constantinople until he was diverted by Roman forces. He then moved southward into Greece, where he sacked Piraeus (the port of Athens) and destroyed Corinth, Megara, Argos, and Sparta. As a response, the Eastern emperor Flavius Arcadius appointed Alaric magister militum ("master of the soldiers") in Illyricum.
Amazing song!
Superb guitar & vocals. I'm hoping for something breathtaking when they go on tour. Hope to see them in the UK soon.
Epic !!!
great first clip of new album i hope to hear more of her story like we did with the mammoth rider in the last album.
Song is good and all, but starting 3:40 this shit goes to astral levels. It gives you chills hearing Jake singing like that
The solo leading up to it, which starts at 2:55, is just as amazing imo.
"...AND SHE RAISES HER FIST TO THE SKYYYYYYYYYY" *chills*

We DESTROYED that like button! \m/
Still waiting for new Gallowbraid. But in the meantime, Visigoth will slightly fill that void
Waiting for Caladan Brood, probably with false hope. Yet this stuff is still very good, better then nothing.
“Fill that void” sounds like an excellent follow up to warrior queen…
or something Beavis would say to Butthead while watching this video.
Suena muy chido
ENGENDRO NUCLEAR igual
Hell fucking yeah!
YES! 2018 0FF TO A GREAT START!
didnt listen the former album but final spell was a damn good ep...
You need to listen to The Revenant King. Immediately.
37 People are sick in the head, absolutely great, epic, holyshieeet track!
The chant at 4:30 is the same tonally as another song with i can't remember and it is bothering me for a long time. Anyone have any ideas?
Mmmmm fuck yeah
Igual de épico que su álbum predecesor, pero incluso más sorprendente. Cuanta fuerza tiene esta canción!!

Fuckkinggg Metal !!!! TOP!!!
HYPE!
What's this mean? The band has too much hype? Or you're hyped for the album? (People need to start commenting in more-complete sentences)
Sorry, I'm just hyped for the new album. This sounds really amazing so for!
HELL YES!
Is this song about Boudica the Queen of Iceni who led a rebellion against the Roman empire?
Will they be in Hungary towards the end of March? ;) That's when I'll be there
Puta som, pouco se vê Heavy Metal nessa linha.
Not bad
Visigoth's feminist masterpiece
hyvä biisi xD
da queen knows de wey
I climaxed listening to this
Oh that is good! The vocals/instrument balance is a little off, but that's never an easy thing to get right, especially in good mental. Overall I love it and will share it with friends!
To be honest, it sounds a bit too generic to me. I love the first album, it had a unique sound, interesting structures and quite epic lines. The riffs in this song on the other hand sound like they could be from any random Heavy Metal band. Not that I don't like it at all, but I somehow I miss the uniqueness of the Visigoth-sound. Can't describe it better, sorry for that. I mean here I had the feeling, that I heard it already so many times, while the songs on the first album always had this feeling of a sound, I've never heard before.
Nonetheless a good song and I still have high hopes for your new album! Will get it on releaseday for sure!
Yes, I feel the same about it. It sounds really good but it's lost some of it identity. Still nice, would buy
Yeah, I do like their old Cirirh Ungol(ish) sound
remember that this is the first song they show from the album. Same as Dungeon Master from last one, this could be one of the more straightfoward songs... What I am afraid of, is that track lengths of this album are way shorter than The Revenant King. Longer songs does not mean more epic or less generic, but it gives you room for some spice... I am hoping like you that this band doesn't end like Grand Magus to a more generic sounding band
My thoughts are pretty much the same! Artwork is really cool.
I think this is an upgrade from the first album. The less-muddy production let's the song really shine. It's pretty close to perfect.
I love Visigoth but where the fuck is Gallowbraid, Jake?! At least tell us it's over!
You mean Caladan Brood?
Timofey Dineen That too
Vycrance Caladan Brood is apparently working on original material currently. It'll probably be a few years but it at least is confirmed. Gallowbraid has been silent for a long time I don't think he'll be releasing anything under that name for probably a long time.
That's shitty. Gallowbraid is just as good as Caladan
So much this
This sounds so great can't wait for it. Sounds better than the first one even.
I hope this album is shorter than the last one. Album dragged on way too long.
Allen Ellsworth youre right
I disagree. For me it could be a hour long, i would still enjoy all of it.
I feel the debut lost some of its steam with the rerecorded tracks and the cover (seriously there's better Manilla Road tracks they could've done) but it ends on a really strong note.
According to Metal Archives, this album is just a little over 42 minutes.
SinCaptor95 Thanks for checking forgot to look.
That like button has been sexually assaulted...
Okay, let's face it. Baby Metal is edgier than this cheese. But it's fun background music for gaming in your man cave. So I'll still give it a thumbs up.
Meh
Reminds me of volbeat
your ass
hahahaha poor Volbeat... not even in their wildest dreams XD
lol in what way? There is nothing about this song that reminds me of Volbeat.
You must have never listened to Power Metal bands before.
Ambar This isn't power metal. More like traditional heavy metal with a touch of power.
