As an abstract artist (painting) this is wonderful! I just started to learn embroidery - this is exactly what I need to try.

Welcome to our wonderful world. I’m just utterly obsessed with creating texture with fibers and stitch. Anything is possible.

So beautiful and innovative! I love the improvisational/wingin'-it/fearless way you work. Essence of creative work.

What about putting the bottle caps the empty space upwards. Might that be easier to stitch? It looks very interesting!

I have used chiffon to trap objects too so they are semi visible. Love the textures on this!

Hi Susan, This is gorgeous despite all the things you will do differently next time. As I was watching I could see the round canvas boards I have and don't know what to do with covered with encrusted embroidery and hanging on the wall! Of course this may never happen but it would be a good thing to do with them. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to the next video. 💚💚💚

OMG!!! WOW! This is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! So unique! I can always count on YOU to come up with fantastic techniques I've NEVER seen before!!!!! I will definitely be doing this very soon. I think bead embroidery would be good to add too. And you could make small embellishments, flowers, and bling medallions too. My brain is SPINNING with excitement and ideas! TFS

@@SusanTaylorBrown My English is quite good, but sometimes I lack the words 🤦‍♀️! I meant how you were able to stitch on top of the high pieces and how you were able to stitch in the lower parts between the pieces that were encrusted by the fabric and that were higher (taller). God, I hope I made some sense now 🤦‍♀️😂 Thanks, Susan 😘❤️

I have a kinda large frame thing I put my fabric in instead of a hoop. Then you could make a bigger piece with no hoop marks.
