All the battles with big 3 in last couple of years is paying off now …he gain the best experience through it even that had lost quite few of these matches but it made him a complete player now well done to Daniil.

@@SoftwareSolutions99 Exactly, at that age the Big 3 had more grand slams than most of the next-gen will win in their whole career. Especially, that 2011 season was amazing for Nole.

these two guys have a nice and genuine face, they are living the sport in a sane way, I wish to them all the best .
The best came on the end. The on-court interview. "Q: What did you think after being 0:2 sets down? A: I know you will not like it, but I thought what would Novak do..." The biggest possible respect you can show. And it clearly shows that Medvedev is a smart guy. He knows the difference between sporty competition and politics. Both player delivered a fabulous performance. FAA missed a couple of chances too much and got a little bit tired in the fifth set (which is totally normal). But he now has the confidence that he is on level with the best. More to come soon.

I love what I see in the video. There have been matches in where Daniil hasn't had the confidence or the will to come back after being down. But now, with this match and with his way of playing, I think that he is ready to rule the tennis world when the Big 3 retire.
He has made the jump. Let's see if other players like Zverev, Thiem, Shapovalov or Augier-Aliassime can follow him.

What a match!
Medvedev is so fast on the court, once he is in the zone, he is so smart and rurthless, I love that player. Many people predict Sinner as a future grand slam champion but I find him quite slow on the court. His game is focused on hitting hard from the center of the court and creating angles, but as soon as he has to move to the sides, he is pretty slow to get to the ball.

@@DeeDeeJohn17 They just did ahead of his match against Tsitsipas, and the match before as well, not just one commentator, even McEnroe did! Sure his is smart and is strong mentaly but he only has an infant's legs to get around the court.
@mm43501 Alcaraz can do it, even though he is not the tallest, he has the maturity, physicality and tennis IQ.
@mm43501 it's called winner or champion. For example we say he is an X times French open champion a Y times US open champion.
My favorite part was Medvedev sprinting backwards in the middle of that one point to try to defend from the back of the court instead of at the net
Impressive Medvedev with two sets against how he managed to come back from the match. He is a great player who has faith in himself and doesn't give up until he plays the last point. If we add to this his humility and sportsmanship, he has many traits in common with Nadal.
