  • KITPLANES editor Marc Cook talks with EAA's Sean Elliott and Tom Charpentier about the proposed changes to Experimental Phase I flight test that could offer an alternative to 25- or 40-hour flight test programs. These changes could dramatically shorten Phase I flight test while also making it more effective for the builder and subsequent owners of any amateur-built aircraft.

Except for 25 seconds at 8:19, this video only talked about the *motivation and process* for developing the task-based phase 1 flight test idea, not what it actually looks like. For an idea of what it actually looks like, they want you to buy the EAA Flight Test Manual book.

Good point. It is a little vague because the EAA flight test book, while excellent, isn't expected to be the only means to get the task-based program accepted. You could create your own, or use one from your kit manufacturer.
