People can be thankful for something and appreciate the good someone did while still calling out their lack of moral integrity. He did good of course. And any sane person is beyond thankful for that. It doesn't mean he was good though. Bad ppl can do good things. Good people are extremely rare. Good people do good without the intentional actions or using abusing and harming others. That's the difference. You feel offended by someone defining you by your sins but not enough to stop doing them. So you want them to call you and him good. I don't know why. No matter what anyone calls you myself or him it doesn't change the good or bad any of us have done. But if we chose to do wrong we are wrong. If we chose to do bad we are bad. Good ppl ONLY chose to do good. You don't need to hold a title you don't fulfill. Just accept that you him and most people aren't good; if you aren't willing to put in the constant effort and care it takes to be good.

Especially when you consider she put out a self-help book that she sold to her fans that looked like a cheap magazine. Also, that "book" was filled with mental health tips and different material that other people came up with and she got sued for it.
She boiled a legendary civil rights leader and activist who helped change the course of history, to a cheater. Then I guess we can take her status as a celebrity and entertainer and just call her a thief, by her logic.

And have to put the kids on their health insurance. And have to pay half of all medical expenses and child care if both are working. Of course the man gets the house. If your place of work closes and you can't pay support they will charge you 9% interest. If you try to get support lowered cause you new job pays less the court will tell you to get a second job. Try not to get cancer cause if you get sick and can't work for 2 yrs you'll owe 20 thousand when you get better and will have to pay 9% interest on that while you pay it down and continue to pay child support. That is assuming the court didn't put you in jail already cause you couldn't pay in which you would have died from not getting your chemo. I am sure you will enjoy all the privileges I get for being a man. But do t worry I am quite sure that with hard work and perseverance we will become as tough as women.

MLK said he wants to live in a country were people judge his kids not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. These beautiful black women saying he is not great because he cheated are misinformed. Stop looking for perfection in a man cause you will never find it, just like men will never find a perfect woman. And pay attention to everything MLK did for the African American community and how his fight for civil rights gave you the right to make this podcast. Separating the art, from the artist is a very good skill to practice. It applies to prominent historical figures as well. Ghandi is another great example of this. From all accounts he was pretty awful towards his wife and family, but freed literally millions of people from British oppressions. A lot of the time, the people that do the most good for a lot others, can actually be quite shitty to the people in their personal life. Not in every case obviously though.

some time ago a divorce lawyer brought up the topic that despite popular opinion, divorces dont happen just bcoz someone cheated; there are always other inconsolable reasons thats been happening in the marriage and divorce strictly on cheating basis shouldnt be a thing. alot of ppl in the comments of course think cheating deserves immediate divorce but me, i actually agree with what the guy said. i dont think just getting caught cheating once unless its an extreme situation like abuse and such warrants divorce bcoz i believe both parties have alot to lose, even if they both have means. there was someone who replied to me saying EXACTLY that, which is why would i let myself be abused mentally and scarred by allowing cheating (projecting on me)
when that person say shit like 'you cant bully anyone into that' and 'think abt the mental health repercussions', i honestly felt like Aba. one, they're ignoring what i said and two, its ironic that this person said all that when he was the one replying to me knowing i said what i said trying to shame me. really i wanted to say, thats none of my business what problems you faced bcoz of your mistakes but it felt too real to say to a stranger so i just said ok then go away, you can leave whenever you want😂😂😂 it felt like they just can't see beyond themselves to make the relationship/marriage work and constantly being all me me me. there's alot of compromises that happens and i know it takes alot for a marriage to last, alot of ppl operate like marriage is to serve their own individual needs and they dont think abt the other person.
of course, i move accordingly. if there is nothing left in the marriage for anybody then divorce is inevitable perhaps.

You can’t take a human being, imperfect and flawed and put them on a pedestal, expecting perfection. You will never get that from a human.
Just because somebody lacked as a husband doesn’t mean they can’t be a wonderful father, co-worker, leader etc. The same goes if a man who will walk through fire for his family might not be the best as an employee. We are all flawed and it doesn’t necessarily make us bad people. All you can do is choose to not get involved with someone that has said flaw, in a manner that will directly effect you (romantically for example)

I am guessing you've been out of the country for 3 or 4 decades. In the meantime this is what it has come to. Women have so many privileges that they think they are better than men. A woman with 5 kids by 3 different father who got her house and car from her last divorce, gets 3 child support checks, foodstamps, wick, heap, and free health insurance considers herself a strong independent single mother.

    • @misssugartooth5253
      @misssugartooth5253 2 года назад +3

@@michaelwaninger3155 Actually, I’ve never even been in the country (I’m from and live in Sweden). So I’m an outsider looking in.
As far as the whole “strong independent mother” thing goes, I would argue that any person (male or female) that could, not by choice, take care of his/her children and hold down a job, household etc. and do it single handed without breaking is a strong person. I myself am raised by a single mother (not by choice). Now…having 3 children by 3 different partners thing (again, male or female), now that is a choice lol. After the second partner (with a child) didn’t work out, I would close the factory, but maybe that’s just me.
As far as women potentially seeing themselves as better than men I’m hoping is just because the loudest voices in the room tends to be heard the most. And let’s be honest women who are just living their life and not letting themselves be over consumed with (extremist) feminist discussions are not gonna have podcast’s like this (not to say that having discussions about problems that could directly effect you isn’t important, but you get it).

Anything after that, is a choice. Because they know they can get away with it. & they don’t respect the person they’re hurting in the process.
Also, a person who allows the decisions hurting them to continue, doesn’t respect themselves enough to have boundaries & stop dealing with the person. (Which is easier said than done when talking about relationships.)
But regardless, if it’s a “mistake they continue to make”, it’s up to that person they’re hurting to walk away from a situation not benefiting them. In terms of infidelity.

And THAT'S the problem. People are triggered because 1. They didn't watch the entire podcast & 2. Dr. King's name was brought up.
They ate Derrick Jaxn up after his infidelity scandal (a rightfully so) because he wasn't living what he preached. The issue is, Dr. King was an ordained reverend and spiritual leader. What has either of these two women done in their lives for the benefit of others, let alone their community that would come close to the accomplishments of MLK?
