For EUR/USD 15m try moving the Th to 10 in the ADX and DI indicator. From 7/1/22 - 9/11/22 with opening trades only between 12am PST and 8:30am PST, I get 37 trades with an 81% win rate at 1.5:1 RR. 14 consecutive wins 2 cons losses.

I back tested this on EU 15M TF. I only counted the trades within my trading window (7 am to 8 pm GMT) so I only got 50 trades starting from January 1, 2022. Using those 50 trades, I tested 1.5RR and 2RR.
Initial balance = $1,000
For the 1.5RR
- gained $375
- 70% WR (35 W- 15L)
- 12 wins in a row vs 3 losses in a row
For 2RR
- gained $400
- 60% WR (30 W - 20L)
- 8 wins in a row vs 5 losses in a row
I'll try to back test using a non EUR/USD pair and even BTC.

i am never getting your pnl or win rate in any of your strategies when i backtest even though i am doing it on the same date and time you are doing in the video. can you please make a timelapse section of all the 100 trades you tested. Because you dont have a fixed stop loss, sometimes you set the stop loss after seeing the price even in replay mode which escapes just by pips and making it a winning trade.
Thank you for yet another amazing strategy. I do have a question though. Do you only take the trade on first red or green candle on Braid filter or let's say the conditions are met on 3rd green candle and you will still take the trade? In other words, are the trades only opened on first green or red candles on Braid filter (assuming all other conditions are met of course) I will appreciate your help.

I tested on AVAX/USDT 15 min TF over 1st Jul - 31st Aug 49 times. Unfortunately I only get a mere 44% win rate. Another interesting observation while testing, this strategy seemed to work MUCH better for long positions.

I just started using this strategy today. Caught 10 trades - 8 winners of 1:2RR 2 losers SL's - Will continue with another 90 trades and see how it goes! so far so good! Love this channel BTW thanks for all the hard work!

@@toonvanreusel2705 yes I had problems too. Basically it really does HAVE to be pointing upwards. Not horizontal at all. If it’s horizontal or pointing downwards when you get the trigger candle don’t take the trade.

To enter in a long trade you need to have 1 red or grey candle previous to the green one on the braid filter? Or doesn't matter as long as ADX is over 20 and trend is above MA?
EX: at min 4:02 IF ADX was over 20, 5 candles prior, could you have took the trade?

one simple strategy is take day's open first 15min candle and plot its high and low.. long once price is above the high and short once price is below the low

Thanks for the test! The Braid Filter looks great. However, the Waddah Attar Explosion is better in my opinion because it colors the histogram according to the red and green candles, whereas the Braid Filter does not. Plus the Waddah Attar Explosion has two levels of filters.
Braid filter for me is better than Wadder attar... I've tried both

Hey, thanks! These strategies can be used on all timeframes just make sure you do your proper backtesting. It really depends on the distance between your entry price and the stop loss, if it’s too far away it’ll usually take longer for the price to trigger your tp. You can also use 1.5-2 ATR for your SL, works perfectly well.

If you wanna get liquidated then go use 100%
My recommendation - do not risk more than 2% of your account per trade

Question: are you sharing your sheet to check the other videos?
I did 14 trades, and 2 of them were a loss. I've used 30 min TF, and when the price was closed to the EMA, I've used 15 min TF and UT Bot for 2nd confirmation
Some trades, when the EMA and price where to close, I've used 2% risk instead or last higher or lower price
Also I haven't used 1:1.5 RR all time, I rather to trail the take profit exit, but when the price is very close to the EMA, I've used the 1:1.5 RR

Tried this on SPY in 3,5,10,15 timeframes and did not get anywhere close to these results.
I just checked SPY on 5, 10 and 15 minute timeframes and only got like 2 triggers for the whole week

Not sure why we added an ADX and DI only to remove the DI when you can just add the ADX on its own?? Baffling!!
The ADX filters out too many strong trades if you go by the direction of the ADX line. If you take Friday for example, when markets had strong bear trends, many good trades were filtered out where the Braid histogram gave a good signal but the direction of the ADX line did not confirm the trade as it was pointing down. Instead you'd be better simply to go with the level of the ADX (above 20 or above 25 for example) or simply ditch it all together.
Adding a volume indicator and a simple RSI would probably work much better. For example take the long when the Braid issues a new signal, the trendbars are green, the RSI is above the 50 (ideally also confirmed by the higher timeframe RSI also matching) and there is sufficient volume in the market.

I think nothing can beat basic indicators like RSI, Macd, Volume especially in crypto.
I can tell you for a fact that other indicators are 100% better... take the time to test them, you'll be amazed

@@kennethongko I use it for several strategies. All are different from this strategy but some are just as simple. I'm a prop trader and it's worked with both swing trading and scalping strategies but I don't use anything below a 2.0 PF (profit factor) for scalping and nothing below a 3.0 PF for swing trading.
