  • For best results view at 1080p60fps. Oh look, a new Raspberry Pi 4 case! That looks sort of NESish! Neato! Is it any good? Watch the video to find out!
    One slight note that I didn't cover in the video too much, I haven't had any heat or throttling issues with it, which is worth mentioning because of the odd fan placement.

      @@InglebardGaming I was so sure I was doing it wrong and going to break the case. So I looked up a review and found yours. Thanks for this.

    I was kinda pi$$ed at the 'fake' power/reset buttons..
    Apart from the fan's noise, how effective did you find it?

      It's OK, it's still the case I'm using for my pi 4 today. Apart from the buttons just being for show and the fan noise, it's still a little annoying the flap doesn't go down when stuff is plugged into the USB ports.
      For a cheapo retro case though, I can mostly look past its issues. I just wanted a decent case that looked pretty nice and it does do that pretty well!
      If you're thinking about getting one and care about real functionality, then you might want something different. Otherwise, I prefer this to the zillion cheapo generic cases that are out there, at least.

    Thank you for this amazing review, how is the cooling when using an overclocked pi, does the case and fan manage to cool effectively?

      I've never had performance or overheating issues with it. The only issue is that fan is pretty loud! But temperature-wise, I've never seen it throttle during emulation, which is all I use it for.

    how do you plug the fan

    • @InglebardGaming
      @InglebardGaming  2 года назад

      It comes with instructions showing which GPIO pins to plug the fan into. You can also see them on the Amazon product page here: www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwjGuY2osYLzAhVTGK0GHQqYAgsYABAEGgJwdg&ae=2&sig=AOD64_2-RksyRXNlu9ID_bI56OFcz53OoA&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwjv3v6nsYLzAhVVLs0KHaD1DVYQwg96BAgBECI&dct=1&adurl=
