I mean, there's only around 36 million people in the country between the ages of 15 to 30, obviously the handful of people in this video, and others like it, represent all of them. That's not generalizing at all. Clearly this video has every person they asked questions in it, and they didn't spend all day asking hundreds of people questions in order to get a few stupid ones. And there's just no way at all the whole thing was staged just to sucker in people like you. Because you're not easy to control... right?

Some of them could be saying stupid things on purpose. Different people have different levels of information retention, and how important they feel something is often impacts that as well. They probably all know things that you don't, and would think you are stupid for not knowing them as well. Realistically, how often does something like 'dozen' come up these days? Unless you're buying donuts regularly it isn't unreasonable that someone might forget what it means. Same goes for pretty much any bit of information. Everyone has "brain fart" moments. How hard do you think it is to make clips when people say something wrong, but then cut out when they correct themselves? How many times recently have you said something stupid that you wouldn't want someone to have recorded and put on YT? There are plenty of stupid/ignorant people of all ages and affiliations. These videos are made to draw in people of a specific mindset, for views. A form of manipulation, control. Which was the point I was sarcastically making in my first comment.

People say the education system let these kids down but so did the parents. Why don't parents make sure their children are taught?. An ex friend of mine once said she didn't do homework with her kids and teach them because that's what her taxes were for. In the end her daughter didn't make it past 6th grade. Very sad. Daughter got pregnant at 14, married at 16, had two more kids and her parents live with her and her husband.

They only take less than 300 students from thousands of applicants and in germany, for example you need a Grade point average, 1,2 I think, for certain studies!!! And this starts in the ground school (6 to 10). With bad grades, you can not go to a gymnasium (high school), and in our schools you have to learn A LO, believe me.
Honestly, sometimes I think young people don’t have to just know certain things cause they know they can just Google it, and that is with any thing at all, their computer is right there in the their hand…. You should see the whole thing, or another one he does. He asked some of the easiest most ridiculous questions that I could have answered in elementary. One was "if you were driving 60 miles an hour, how far would you drive in an hour?". No one could answer it. I was hoping he was telling them beforehand "wrong answers only", but sadly I know he didn't.

Now I want to see the full unedited version. Where almost everyone approached were able to answer these questions very easily. Anyone can go outside and ask these same questions to strangers. I'm willing to bet that most people that you talk to would have no problem answering these questions correctly. But if you ask enough people you will eventually find enough unintelligent people to make a video after you've edited out everyone who didn't help push the idea that whatever generation is stupid. It's deceptive. It probably was just supposed to be funny at first but all they had to do to realize that they are causing people to actually believe that an entire generation is so stupid that we're in serious trouble in the next few years because there won't be anyone smart enough to keep the country from collapsing is read the comments on the first video they posted. A "haha, look at these dumb people" video turned into propaganda and fear mongering. The irony of the comments is that there are so many people saying stuff like "if they're our future we're fucked" all while lacking the thinking skills to understand that this video has left out the vast majority of the people they talked to because their answers weren't funny enough for the video.
I guess it's just not important to know anything about anything that I don't know anything about in the world.

You should see the whole thing, or another one he does. He asked some of the easiest most ridiculous questions that I could have answered in elementary. One was "if you were driving 60 miles an hour, how far would you drive in an hour?". No one could answer it. I was hoping he was telling them beforehand "wrong answers only", but sadly I know he didn't.
