Katie is a young girl who accuses her guidance counselor, Mr. Lombardo, of rape. Unknown to anyone but her and Mr. Lombardo, the two are having an affair and are planning to use the false accusations to extort money from her mother in a lawsuit. But before the trial can go on and the "truth" can come out, Sam is murdered by Daniel, a young police officer who grew up with Katie and is in love with her shoots him in cold blood. Chaos ensues as a Detective investigating everything closes in on the truth. How far will Daniel go to protect a girl who may not need it? And how tangled will Katie's web of lies become?
