My wife lost her work ID badge down behind that front cover today and I pulled the top off as you showed, and the badge was sitting right there, along with a bunch of loose change, receipts, and other stuff. In fact, after reading the comments about how things can slide even further down, I pulled those side panels back to dig a bit deeper and found my daughter's learner's permit, which she lost over 3 years ago on the day she passed her license test. We never knew what happened to it, until today. Even found stuff from the original owner lol.
We now officially know the van ate your daughters permit fortunately for her gone doesn’t mean gone gone 🤣 I’m glad you retrieved all of those lost treasures

OMG! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I set my military dependent ID on the console drawer and it just disappeared. I thought it slid off onto the floor. The sentry wouldn't let me on base. I spent 15 minutes in the dark, in the rain, outside the gate to the base looking for it. All I got was more and more pissed off and wet. The sentry finally let me on base with my new drivers license after he verified I lived in the base, but it's still frustrating because I need it for everything on base. I figured it fell in a crevasse under the console but there was no way to get in there. And that seemed impossible. I even tried removing the drawer, but it's not like a kitchen drawer where you can lift it up and irked come off the track. I found your video and was able to remove it, thanks to you. Thank you so much!!! 😊🥰

My wife lost her new drivers license a DAY after it arrived in mail. Hers was even farther forward in the console. There are two screws each side of console (by the gas pedal) and then down by your feet passengers side. The better access is on the drivers side but pull that plastic shroud back fairly aggressively and there is enough to get a small arm and hand back there to get it cds, credit card etc out. I could get two fingers on her ID but couldn’t finagle it out. It took me holding back on the plastic and her reaching in (up and over metal portion) to get it. This all makes sense I promise if it happens to you. Thanks for your video. RUclips courage to wreck your @:&;7::&/&$:!

Thank You! As with many storiesnbelow, my credit card slid into the abyss. I was sure I needed to yank stuff apart at the front dash area. It never occurred to me to pull it up and out back by the sliding bin. BTW, my van is a 2013, so the validity of your video counts for models way older than 2019!
@kennyvspoverty In my case, I took my 2016 DGCaravan to the local dealer for a few things. I mentioned if they could look at the top back door of the super console (SC) because it split from the rest of the door inside the When I got it back they destroyed the door of the SC. Of course I complained and they were very caring and replaced it for no cost
This console looks just like mine & it’s a 2012. I got a pack of cigarettes stuck back so my drawer thing wouldn’t close all the way....this is why I found ur video! Thanks very helpful!!!

Thanks for the tip man. I just got a used 2017 grand caravan and it came with roaches. I wanted to strip it and fog it out completely. I just opened it up like you showed. All kinds of gunk in there.
@@kennyvspoverty Yeah I got 2 boxes of bug foggers. I'll put all the seats up and open the floor panels and let all those off. Next day I'll clean it up and put some armorall on the dash and wheel. The dealer should have done all that but they didn't. Still a great van and when you pop the hood theres not even a spec of dirt on the engine. Whoever owned it last barely used it. Probably used by an uber driver or something. I may have to let the middle console's sliding door covers sit in some peroxide since they yellowed. So it's good I know how to remove the top now.

Nice, but not a solution for many…if you look it slips even further beyond the point of the upper module. NO MONEY SHOT in ANY video of this yet. It slips BEYOND the console and cannot be accessed. There is one wire and perhaps a label interfence, however it IS smooth sailing for a I’d or credit card to slip behind if conditions are right and it happened too me. i think it may have interfered with my shifting as well.

My wife wedding band slid in there. I believe it fell into the little holes in the corner unfortunately. I'm currently trying to figure out how to get even further back. there.
Ohhh noooo the vans never ending hunger strikes again from my experience you have to disassemble everything then unscrew the brackets to get ALL the way back

Those are a tough 🍪 you have to take the console off as much as possible then unscrew the under layers to get full access

Do you know how to take out the bottom drawer that slides in and out? I have stuff that has fallen behind it.
If you lift up (fairly firm) the top portion of the console it will disconnect from the bottom allowing you access behind the drawer

My full time van is a Toyota Although if you can get to the baseboard screws you should be able to remove the whole thing 🤞🏾
