The difference between these two in the video is that the 4gb use lowest setting while the 8gb one use better graphic setting

Im just here, which my phone that cant even run genshin smoothly for 2 minutes, and the settings are all at the lowest possible mode. 4GB of ram looks IDEAL to me. I wish i had that quality.

it may seem like not much fps or performance improve in this video with dual channel because his laptop spec is not great to begin with, but i have two rog laptop one with gtx1070 and another with rtx2070, and the dual channel on gtx1070 ones has improved the smoothness and fps by a lot, when compared to my single channel rtx2070 laptop it is not as smooth and will have a little slutter especially in the diluc's winery farm area, it can drop to 30-40fps meanwhile the dual channel gtx1070 laptop is stable at 50-60fps and very very smooth, gonna add another ram to my rtx laptop soon

@@voldlordemort2631 well it's like the first comment i made, the fps drop is gone, before i can hit max 50-60fps too but in some areas like town where you have lot's of items and npc around, turning your camera around quickly would drop the fps to 30-40fps, now it's basically stable 50-60fps all the time, the smoothness is noticeable

Not much of a difference eh? I thought 4gb ram would stutter lol...bro but 8gb ram plays a really great role in gaming.. I thought it wouldnt... But after i added another 4gb of ram... I ws able to play many games that stuttered alot when i had 4gb ram.. Dyling light wasnt playable back then.. Now its buttery smooth omg.. It was a dream come true haha!

Asking why because on previous AM3 PC with 16 GB Ram game just was SUPER Stuttering and i always think it because of RAM so what do you think buddy?
Sure it can, i think. Mine is also RX 580 but with Ryzen 5 2400G and 16 gigs of ram, stable at 60 fps maxed settings 1080p. Except for the resolution render. i set it at 1.0 and also without motion blur. For your previous AM3 pc having stutters, if you had the same gpu (RX 580) it was probably caused by bottleneck cuz most of the AM3 cpu's are very outdated and won't be able to carry your RX 580 to it's peak performance, or not even half, i think. Cmiiw

Before when the game version is 1.0 to 1.2 using 4gb ram is fine, But now its pure hell, U can still run the game but u gonna expect a lot of stutters like teleporting on another places or fighting enemy's the 4gb ram will start freaking out, also the load times will be affected a lot. Upgrading to 8GB ram is such a relief you wouldn't see a lot those problems I mentioned

If anyone wants to know if Genshin still runs well on 4gb ram, the answer is: kinda.
4gb ram is fine to roam around, clear domains/Spirall Abyss.
Populous cities like Liyue Harbor and Inazuma City will have a LOT of stuttering/lag.
Sometimes it can get stuck on loading screens too, like, instead of 20 seconds, you will have to wait 5 minutes or so. it's pretty annoying.
The trend is getting worse, after all, they will add new locations/ new cities, new NPCs... game is getting bigger and bigger, not smaller. ;)
I would say 6gb RAM is the bare minimal for playing Genshin Impact 2.0+.
8gb RAM is the ideal/perfect experience.

But I don't keep stuff like internet browser, discord, spotify, etc. running, you know? If you like to keep multi-apps + genshin running at same time you will probably need more RAM.

Some of the game I play since some years already on my laptop are Paladins (you need now 8GB of RAM and you can play like before), Modern Combat 5, World of tanks blitz, Enter the Gungeon (some good thing XD its when you want some spice in your days XD), Tera and Revelation Online even if the last time was 1year ago, I sometime play Warfork even if I'm shit on this game XD you need big skill I can't even do what I see some experienced player do XD, Limbo (a good game to pass time you need some reflexion and I like this), Warframe, Combat Arm : The classic, and I will start playing The Witcher 2 : Assassin of kings, and all the collection of Bioshock after I have experienced 10 of hours with Bioshock 1 and maybe a Dark Soul, I don't know wich one chose like I never played this game (maybe the 2) but I need some online game for when I'm lonely XD (I love game with challenge and difficulty)

Probably proccessor i think there is this guy on yt who tested 1gb counter strike but manages to get 100 average fps cuz he had a good proccessor i mean he doesnt lag at any game even with a 1gb ,(its a comparison between 1gb 2 gb 4 gb 8 gb and 16 gb and i was surprised that he can.get 100 averagr at 1 gb
