@mrh372 it IS hard dude! I've only gotten it a handful of times, myself. But you really gotta stiffen up the suspension for it, so you don't bottom out going up the face
You boys know how to rip it! Wish this place was closer to me cause I really want to hit Hooch. Good save on the one jump! So how was the new whip at the bike park?
@TrailSage thanks Sage! I basically have the bike fully slacked out so it's super stable at the bike park, in the off season I'll steep it back in a bit... but the slack HTA saved me from going OTB there for sure🫣 And yes I think you're ready for Hooch dude! Upper empire at Blue is just as good now with their even bigger drop.
@CycleComeback thanks dude! Plenty of great gravel around us and places where a gravel bike can work on mtb trails. Schaeffer farms is a great one that a gravel bike can handle well. If you're seeking long gravel rides try the NCR or C&O canal!
@@splooshmtb Thanks! Schaeffer might be the one. I saw your other video about NCR and did that one. I have yet to go on the C & O canal. Thanks for responding! Your videos actually motivate me to get out there despite my age! (saw Star Wars in the movie theatre) old 😉
@DennyJannettyMTB thanks dude! Yes for the old fashioned shots I was using an ND8 filter with specific gopro settings- I made a video breaking this down over the winter!
@@splooshmtb that’s sweet, I just got the hero 12 and I’m thinking about it. The shots where the riders are in and out of focus, is that a spot meter thing?
@DennyJannettyMTB creek is one of my favorite parks so I'll definitely make that trip! Follow along on Instagram as I try to post bike park trips there!
@ 3:30 mark i'm just turning my head around mid air making sure ur still behind 😂😂😂🔥
@@logsmtbvlogs LOL didn't even notice that
Great video and camera work! Looks like SO much fun!! You guys were flying!!
@@TheRideAbides thanks Dan! Bryce is such a fast park for sure🤘🏽
Bryce is a blast! Haven't ridden Hooch yet, it was closed when I was down last, but that's another reason to return. Great vid.
@slantedground thanks dude! You'd crush Hooch. I've had great hooch days and days like this one where 2 laps was all I wanted to do😂.
I got to get my tail back up to Bryce ASAP. I’m officially a northern Virginia resident again with a new bike.
@@themiddleagemasher8108 ooooh you're now a local let'sgoooo
You guys make the pickleback step up look easy! i've been avoiding it after getting bucked hard and OTB

I love your videos! I wish I had a mountain bike. I only have a gravel bike. :( Can you recommend any Maryland parks to ride my gravel bike in?

sick video Zane! are you running an ND filter on these clips?
@thaynes1832 thanks dude! ND8+custom settings used only on Old Fashioned to highlight the speed, everything else with my usual setup :)
What's the lift ticket gonna set you back?
@Henry_Faulkner Bryce I believe is right around $50!
@@splooshmtb Nice.
I'm a new rider and not a young spring chicken. Is this a place where I could still learn and have fun?
@Black-Seal-Ghost 10000000% yes dude. Go check out my beginners guide to Bryce video, I think you'll like what you see!
Many thanks... I definitely will. I'm from the DMV and looking to explore places to ride and meet and greet other riders to learn and have fun.
@@Black-Seal-Ghost then you've come to the right place homie!
Oh wow! Hooch and pickleback were actually open 😮😮😮. Been 4 times this year and they’ve been closed every time.
@davisjl1979 it's been a pretty rainy start to the summer, thankfully we lucked out this trip!
Hey man, just subbed, are you using neutral-density filters for your GoPro, or are you just messing with the contrast? It looks solid.
