Thank you all for the wonderful comments my supporters. Appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. More videos coming very soon.
Thank you for play this beautiful and sunny melody. Greetings from Brazil.
Please do more videos. Thanks
Handsome young man, beautiful skin tone.☺
you deserve every single wonderful comment bro, keep on shining 🌻
I want to learn how to play man, you have admirable style man.
Why does this take me back to my childhood in the Caribbean when I was born in Singapore
Singapore is not in carribbean dumbass
Nash thats the joke my guy
Christiaan Bell lmao he’s dense as fuck
@@NashTheGreat your comment deserves a prize, the "getting it wrong, oh so wrong" prize perhaps!
Nash that’s the fucking point brother
This is the typical Congolese soukous music and his style is typical sebene style of solo guitar, but he is not a typical Congolese guitarist. He is one of the best, not typical. The variety of melodies in one composition is huge, and the way he bridges from one melody to the next is very unusual and unique. He looks very young too. He will be the best in future.
I know right, so talented. The joy if the music was on his face. He was smiling non stop with the beauty music.
To me it sounded Caribbean. Is there a clear line of descent?
@Abraham Shekelbergstien Don't know about the guitar, but they did have the banjo
@Abraham Shekelbergstien sorry bud, but the banjo was brought to America by the slaves. We just polished it and gave it a different name.
Let's hear what it's SUPPOSE to sound like... ruclips.net/video/YqgG7baoSHY/видео.html
I have played guitar all my life but I never knew it could sound like this! It's so bright and happy, it sounds like a completely different instrument!
Thank you very much for the comments.
plz l love ur style . assist me on 0972 549281125 steps by steps
Lomayat12 . So nice man I love it and wish to play like you.
You should make more vids of Soukous guitar 🎸 🎸
Lomude / LemonadeMan we want lessons
LemonadeMann. I love your style buddy is very cool I need a lessons, your contact please. Thanks
As a Mexican American I found your music to be very very beautiful thank you my brother God-bless you.
If sunshine had a literal melody, the African guitar would be it!!! Great Job!!!
Kanda Bongo Man!
Yeah! He looks SO happy.

Most casually bored delivery of Awesome.
That's already been invented: ruclips.net/video/S1v2zaEkXtA/видео.html
Milia belle
This reminds of Sudanese parties where they would never end the song and continue playing for hours💛
i was thinking the same, in sudanese weddings they would get musicians to play music like this for hours!, its really beautiful
Stop it originates from Congo. Give credit. This is more their influence & style. Such as k Olmide & fally with Q Latin
ManiacVlog I was never not giving credit. I was sharing my experience and this type of music is all that is played in the Sudanese community. Way to turn the good vibes this songs gives me to your own agenda.
@@ManiacVlog Its all good, We all One, One people, One Africa.
I know right Those were lit
Beautiful, I wanna travel to Africa one day just for the music, nothing else like it
The only way to play like this is to transfer all of the happiness from your face to your fingers, only then will one reach this level of happy tunes.
Cogratulations
Carbon Connection , ... when the melody is so sweet, you get bamboozled and have an idea like this.... can’t help it.
U trump fan
😂😂😂
I was wondering why he didnt smile 😀
As a Caribbean 🇱🇨 person who grew up listening to soukous music this brings back memories. Truly incredible, keep playing and uploading!
Prospere when you know you know

Thank God I'm African, We Have The Best Culture
I'm from africa too haha born in Botswana, but I'm white hehe Africa is still my home! I miss listening to this type of music live. I'm in Canada now.
There’s no such thing as best culture.
What !
And the best music! The African people brought color and rhythm in the music in the whole world . Look to what music we are dancing now.. Salsa, merengue, rumba, reggae, samba, kizomba,r&b,…….all these music styles find their roots in Africa with the best percussion lines and rhythm. God bless Africa!
it’s a little funny cause it’s on a schecter hellraiser, but that is sweet
alnecks Van Curler hell yeah it made me like the song more lol
Hahahahah your profile picture
That's why i clicked haha
But to be honest, for this kind of soloing, it's a pretty good choice
Also with EMG pickups. I'm expecting this to turn metal now 🤟
@@loffel1700 fun fact. Active Pickups were originally designed for Jazz because of the flat frequency response. if you turn the gain way down when its on clean and roll of the tone knob you get a great jazz box sound
It’s winter here in Philadelphia, but I can feel the warmth of the sun in your music. Beautiful man, just beautiful. Stay well
This melody is like Sun is coming wearing sunglasses next the sea with a big smile on face while the fishes are dancing a luau and Yoshi is coming from distant mountains, which mode is he using anyway? Haha
Just normal major, ionian, right?
Sounds major, but he’s outlining chords, and the rhythm is what’s making the melody.
@@skubadoobie Its in a major key.
C major with major 7th and dominant 7th
If you follow the concept of modes, you never will get there. The secret of this special positive feel is something else: It is the fluent way he arpeggiates the chords.
I was at a music store and I remember hearing someone playing this style of guitar and being completely blown away. Never heard ANYTHING like it. But I want to learn
C'est la musique de la République Démocratique du Congo . C'est le style appelé populairement
ndombolo , le seben , la rumba congolaise
Simply brilliant. Thank you for warming up my cold finnish evening. 👏🌄🌹
I can see that u like 🎸 music
A million views??!!! Finally. This talented musician deserved some recognition
Sir Congo 🇨🇩 wants to thank you for sharing what we have been enjoying for centuries. Thanks
#Franco🇨🇩❤️🇨🇩❤️ Mamou ❤️🇨🇩
😂
😂How many centuries old are you?
@@kiswahilikitukuzwe2547 Congolese culture and the people of Congo have been around for millenias, though the state in itself is relatively now
We all in East Africa have been enjoying centries......but we don't forget to give Congo props.
@@achayootto4221 thank you 🙏🇨🇩❤
Since 2020, every year i come to listen again to this beautiful song ❤
Just amazing brother I am from Nepal had lots of friend here in university that I went to in USA from Africa and we use to all jam together you reminded me of those time thanks brother and best of luck for your future cheers
I honestly adore this, so many memories from my childhood of my mom playing African tapes
Nice. I"m feeling that. I've always wanted to hear "African" guitar is this manner. I love the feel, the melody. ..the universal soul of it all! Thank you.
I see you guys are commenting about the lead guitar but you re forgetting the good bass in the background :)
Sub bass
Its excellent.
Very much sweeter melody.
You bass bro?
Well, the title of the video is "African guitar". Not "the bass line in the back" .
Bravo champion. J'aimerais tellement pouvoir jouer à la guitare comme tu le fais. C'est juste magnifique
I love my Afrikan music, and this is one of them. Awesome ❤❤❤❤
Man... Wow, your left hand was made for guitar Bro. I really enjoyed it.
Much respect from Algeria.
2 Years Later I'm Back Again. Timeless Epic Jamming !
Man, this sounds new and fresh. As a guitarist of 12 years I’m so delighted to have found this.
This sound is literally sunshine and spring time!
Oh Lord! I connected this to my sound system and couldn’t help myself but dance!👍🏾
Blessed is the ears that have experienced this genre of music live.
There’s nothing like it in my opinion. It fills your entire being, especially if the guitarists bassist and drummer have great synergy
The dude aint breaking a sweat! It sounds beautiful
This gentleman's fluid Congolese guitar skills are right up there with the likes of his compatriots Flamme Kappaya and Olivier Tchimanka. The melodies do bring to mind birdsong as is heard echoing through the canopy of tropical rain forests at dawn. Truly beautiful music that transcends culture and geography.
🔥 this is what we call guitar 🎸 flames 🔥 keep up the good job. Shout out from Namibia 🇳🇦
I Will Always Be Baffled How You Guys Play Guitares. You Are Very Very Good Boy..Awesome
I wonder I came back to watch this video again. This kid is likely to become a great soloist if he keeps that pace. Very impressing!
Oh boy!! This guy is just pure talent his bored look notwithstanding🔥🔥🔥
Awsome nice music remind shungura music
Wow. Takes me back to the 1970's when I taught in a secondary school for two years in the Western Region of Ghana. Highlife was very big and I fell in love with it and still play it form time to time.
I love how active African guitar is
Dude i come back every couple of years just hear this and then I get addicted for weeks
He is so polished his work Zimbabwe approved 🇿🇼
Sending love and light to you directly from the Left Coast of America! You are loved and appreciated for sharing your soul Mon!!!!!
Dude's playing the happiest tune on a Schecter and I love it!
Who is here in 2020 to cheer up this guy.so talented
Happy sounds heal the soul. Your guitar melodies remind me of tasting sweet ripe fruit on a perfect day. 👏🏽🎉😊 Always keep playing!❤️
It's wonderful. Thankyou for shared that. I see your video here from Brazil.
How we say it in Colombia: Sabroso! That's the way of soukous my friend.
Esto suena a música colocha
It's Congolese music.
...now this's what i call music.
This is too good, finna dance one of them Congolese dances 🔥💯
LOL 😂 what you know about that?
Empress Zaire you would be surprised mate..🤔
@@TheShumirai1 LOL... I Laughed when I read your comment because I'm Congolese.
Empress Zaire ohh right 😂😂 I’m African bruv!! But I love them rumba dances 👌🏾👌🏾☺️
Great job, LemonadeMann.
Greetings from Los Angeles, USA from a Colombian guy.
costeño?? Barranquilla?
Makes me want to learn the guitar every time I hear this 👍🏾👍🏾 keep it up bro!!
I really love that sound! Mama África is in everywhere with all those different kind of rhythms. I feel the earth vibrate when I listen it. Much love for all of us!
This is amazing, I wish I could play one musical instrument....You're an inspiration my Brother..keep up the good work!!!! PURE Talent
why wish it if you can actually do it :D
Ce son me fait penser au ndombolo congolais 🇨🇩🇨🇬 ça apaise vraiment le coeur bravo
Happy music played on a hellraiser :)
But it still sounds nice.
EMGs can do any kind of music :)
Most metal guitars make excellent jazz/clean guitars as well. With the action being so low and fret work usually precisely fashioned it makes for a fast playing , good handling instrument
Even with over wound gain heavy pickups you just turn the volume potentiometer down a bit until the growl is gone and it cleans up into beautiful creaminess.
“Orchestra baobab “is a good example of other similar style like this. They are from Senegal 🇸🇳
I noticed that too. . . Funnily enough, the guitarist I know with a Hellraiser, is a fan of fantasy lore like Silmarillion as well!
Goes to show those in Hell originated from Heaven :)
after listening to some african music I became curious to hear if any african musicians were playing electric guitar, because of the insane complexity of the melodies in the african music. and man it sounds good when you do. good stuff brother, thank you from Finland !
Hyvää Kaveri !👍🏾
My layman thoughts tell me that the music instrument invention was an African concept. I even become much more selfish to think that Afro Guitarists are the best and most talented in the whole world. One can't afford to ignore applauding this young gentleman. Its a job well done
💪The kid has real super powers.
Now ..that..is..MUSIC!!
Love from India
Bible say any good tree have a good fruits .i just want to that South Sudan have a good fruits my friend I love you my brother be bless in. U. S. A. We are with you in spirit go deeper up 🇸🇸🇸🇸🇸🇸🇸🇸🇸🇸🇸🇸🇸🇸
The pure melody of our beloved Mother Africa!
Bravo, my brother!
Nice to see someone playing there own stuff. I appreciate the style and enjoy other cultures music. Music is a language we all can understand
Trop génial 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🇭🇹 dépui Haïti
i Hardly Comment but Here am forced, this Guy is a real Genius
Such a huge difference between African music and African American music lol. It's crazy. Like polar opposites.
This is amazing. I was born and raised in Cartagena De Indias Colombia and this congolose Zoukous style is locally known as "champeta". This video instantly got me back to my childhood.
Yeah it not champeta that we guys named it it soukous from congonoriginally from congo Kinshasa🇨🇩
I remember listening to this back in November 2019-January 2020. Tik tok was just getting big, covid hadn't hit yet. Years later in 2024 I'm wishing I could go back to a simpler time
Proudly African... Well done my brother and keep it up!
You are a Great Musician, my Brother. I could listen to you play all the time!
Lo mejor de lo mejor desde Barranquilla Colombia para el mundo lo mejor la madre África acá los escuchamos mucho mis hermanos africanos
ripping this lil jam for 4 minutes straight is nasty. so good
All the way from Detroit would love to hear some of your music at our summer festivities 🔥🔥🔥
Colombian Caribbean region, very hot and sunny evenings, playing football in the streets while music like this played in the nearest neighborhood stores, with people there playing pool and drinking beers. Those days.
I like the fact that he be playing that on a Schecter with EMGs (totally metal guitar). We wanna see your heavy side now brother!!!!
Oh mister, you just blew my mind away. Good work and keep up with it.
Amazing !! France sees you ! 🇫🇷
I love how he’s playing this amazing uplifting music with a guitar meant for rock and metal
Winter here where I am. Thank you for the 4 minutes and 40 seconds of Summer sunshine bro. 🤙🏽🔥
This is one of the happiest tunes I’ve listened to in a long while. Awesome!

Wait. If you thought about it, exchanging brains doesn't make you him. It makes both of you exchange bodies
😂 😂

Cheats He’s always been good sense he was a kid 🔥 he was the reason I wanted to play guitar in the first place cause he would play it at church and me and my brother would watch 🕊
Tres FANTASTIQUE..with tears in my eyes..beauty memories with our Holidays ..
Wow, this opened me up to a whole new style of music! Absolutely sick playing man, seriously keep it up. And finding soukous through this was awesome!

I didn’t know there was an African style for guitar, guess I’m just dumb because this shit is fire
what styles of guitar are you familiar with, blues? lol
