    This is the most helpful video I've seen yet! I have really small nail beds too so I will definitely try this method the next time I do my nails. Thank you so much!

      Thank you lovely! It takes a bit of practice and with time you get the hang of it, it helps to have a nail art brush to hand to get neat around the cuticles ❤️

    Do you do a wipe off between rubber base coats and before the top coat??

    • @Kiki.London
      @Kiki.London  18 дней назад +1

      It's not a necessary too, I don't always, usually I only will if I notice something on the surface like dust of a bit of fluff, because the rubber base leaves a tacky layer after curing sometimes it attracts little particles of dust etc so I will wipe then top coat x

    Is the top coat the one used for semi? Or a special rubber base top coat? Thank you. Great video

      Hi, the rubber top coat can be used over any of our shades and with all the different base coats - it gives a stronger, rubber like finish so it's great for weaker/thin nails ♥️

      @@Kiki.LondonI've seen rubber base and topcoat are they supposed to be used together

    Is rubber base used natural nails only? And what type of nails is rubber base used .

      You can use them on extentions as well, but you can't build length with them. These are great for weak and brittle nails, but can be used on any type of nail plate. 🥰

      Yes they are used as a base coat on natural nails, you can then use it in 2 coats for colour, or you can use it under gel polish, builder gel or sculpting gel (builder gel and sculpting gel can be used to extend) xx

    I've seen lots of videos where they don't cure that first layer, they do a thin layer then they do a bead of the rubber based gel and finish the nail all at once. On your video I see that you did a layer, cured it, then finished it with the rest of the product. Is there a reason why you did it this way?

      Hey! Both ways work as well as each other tbh, on myself I've always found it to work better curing the first layer as I really scrub this into my natural nail plate, I used to get a lot of lifting on myself and this helped eliminate that, but on clients I've done the way you mention and it's worked fine, sometimes different techniques will work better on different people and then also sometimes it can just be personal preference/how you've trained ❤️❤️
