No, not so far. I got it used and rebuilt it with new springs and seals and its worked fine ever since. Just make sure you use a fresh 9v battery. Or get a 9.6v rechargeable battery which would be better. If the battery is too weak it'll have no-shoot issues. Even though you can still turn the gun on and hear the solenoid click. If it doesn't have enough juice it won't fire. Most issues I do hear from other people are due to lack of maintenance to the regulator. It needs to be lubed up from time to time otherwise pressure spikes can happen from the orings dragging and balls will just break in the barrel from it chuffing out more air than it's supposed to. Pretty simple gun to maintain over all though. I mainly use Hater Sauce grease with mine on the hammer and bolt. Put it on when I get to the field and im good for the whole day.
And I reaaaallly recommend getting the TechT bolt for it. The difference between the stock bolt and TechT bolt is Night and Day. Cuts back on recoil big time.
The only issue I’ve come across with this is irrelevant at most fields because you won’t be allowed to shoot fast enough to cause problems. That being said you will likely have to slow your roll down a lot because I got yelled at by a referee for “shooting psp speeds” while on semi. The fact that these are built with 25BPS standard makes these rather “hot” at larger feilds especially those with that god aweful 10.25BPS cap Edit: also it’s not a good idea to adjust the saber trigger forward as it tends to trigger the magnetic pull system causing excessive fire rate. Edit2: don’t buy a halo Too because they are too slow the best hopper for this marker I’ve found to be the dye rotor2
@@Solmangrundy Hey thanks for the reply. That link takes me to a page that does not list the Fenix as a compatible marker. Is this the correct bolt / page?
Solenoid won't engage the sear if the battery is weak. Too big of an oring on the bolt, Or your solenoid is dieing. Bolt when disconnected from the hammer should slide freely. If it's not recocking, along with irregular velocity. Your regulator needs servicing or replaced.
sweet video, have you had any issues with the gun? I am thinking about getting one soon.

Is this the 2012 Fenix? If so, can you post a link where you got the bolt and which one?
