Thank you for the introduction and demonstration. I feel nervous using Google to log and think that the AI would have access to information that is stored on Google. What are your thoughts on privacy concerns is it better to create a username and password or use the Google login for security? I'm not a coder but I do use AI large language models basically for fun, does this new software have a two-way audio interface that does not require hitting the inner key in other words it detects when there's a gap in the conversation and begins to answer the question? Thank you.
Username and password is better if you don’t want to share your name and other Google auth info. Social logins are just easy and removes the hassle of needing a password. They are generally safe though. DeepSeek doesn’t have a built in voice mode as far as I know.
The video was super helpful thank :) On a different note, what platform/tool did you use to record the video? We are looking to do recordings like this for our company and loved the format. Was it loom?
Makes sense. It’s still a good solution to many different personal and business problems. As AI gets more intelligent, we will see it being better at solving all sorts of problems. With any new technology, this is always the case
Because it’s cloud based and authentication is a solution for keeping user data (including chats) safe from other users. It’s just common practice for most cloud apps. It’s open source though, feel free to download it and use it if that’s your preference.
That’s very sad to hear. I suppose that’s the case since it’s from China. But the fact that it’s open source and people can just download it and use it locally, should eliminate any concerns related to privacy and data concerns.
I wouldn’t share sensitive data with cloud hosted LLMs. If you have to, download the model and self host it. That’s the best part about this being open source
Thanks a lot! Very useful, and helpful! You are a super intelligent person!
Excellent, quick, structured, illustrated overview. Nailed it. Thank you.
Glad you found it useful.
Thank you Sam, a really useful intro, i'm signing up to deepseek.
Let me know if you like it.
I’m someone that’s new to the AI side of the world and this video was so helpful 💯
Thanks! Glad it helped!

Hey…glad you found it helpful. I use an app called Descript for the recordings as well as the edits.
This is amazing.
Glad you found it useful!
Sam, can I use it in my mobile please?
Absolutely. Here’s the link to my video on how to use it on mobile: ruclips.net/video/LkjjEy4Rgo0/видео.htmlsi=Z19sFN0D8JhS5EHc
I cannot open the website of DeepSeek here in Saudi Arabia
Use a VPN maybe?
how do i download it on my mac and use it forever?
You can’t download an app. But you can download the models and use it for free forever. I will make a video on this. Thanks for the idea
@@samganguly yes please make a video how to download the models. I am now your new subscriber
AI seems to be a fancy solution to a to a problem I don’t have.

@ thanks, great video, by the way
Why does the app need the password to my email account? Sounds risky.
Because it’s cloud based and authentication is a solution for keeping user data (including chats) safe from other users. It’s just common practice for most cloud apps. It’s open source though, feel free to download it and use it if that’s your preference.
I dont understand anything of this (i`m a chef) before your video. Now I understand a little bit more, thanks.
Glad I could help!
Deepseek is having problems in India right now. Deepseek is being targeted by people to bring it down. It's awful to hear that
That’s very sad to hear. I suppose that’s the case since it’s from China. But the fact that it’s open source and people can just download it and use it locally, should eliminate any concerns related to privacy and data concerns.
@ Thanks for your prompt response
Is every prompt being stored by China

The hypocrisy. If Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc, do it, why not China?
Thus generation is now wiser and won't fall for the western propaganda.
man ai getting too advanced
this is full of unnecessary video.
