    lots of misconceptions there:
    1. bacterial growth: not really if filters contains silver as silver kill them. Also there are different filtering systems and for example Reverse Osmosis or Distilled water provide 0 bacteria water
2.the 'good' minerals from tap water are neither good neither useful: as shown in the book how tap water can harm you from Dr norman walker, the minerals in tap water can't be used by the body because they are not organic nor ionic, they are dead and clogg the veins and arteries in the body as he shows both with numbers and dead autopsies. Minerals are usable by the cells at the source but quickly clump together, loose their electrons and are hardly usable by the body. Plus they are in low amount compared to food, and food is the source of minerals not the water. Except if you drink the water at the spring in nature, not spring water in bottles.
    3. last point about mineral less water being dangerous is also misleading: the acidity of reverse osmosis or distilled water is not strong enough to rid your body of its minerals as they are part of the tissues and the bones. What is right is that if your body has dead minerals in it and it has then those acidic waters mineral free will remove the dead minerals from the body.
The interest of having filters is to remove all the bad things in water: chlorine, fluoride, heavy metals, medicine residues, cryptosporidium, etc... And in fact filters don't remove enough: water is an heterodyne or frequency sponge (search water memory II from german dr. world in a drop) thus water has to be also cleared of its memory by a vortex or EM.

@@RockinfromtheGrave I know, right? Dr Norman Walker, a.k.a. quackaroo, doesn't have a clue about chemistry, nor biology, nor how the Scientific Method is conducted. All molecules, whether they contain Carbon or not, are, technically, not alive, to begin with - so they are "dead". Simple ionic molecules tend to be used just as much by the body as a complex organic water-soluble molecule (it's the ions) - and typically more so (the fat soluble foods with certain minerals like K, Ca, Mg, are broken down in the stomach and you're back to the ions again).
The "water memory" hypothesis was thrown out decades ago, though some data with ice (solid water) may have some memory effects, however, SEM work on liquid water shows no clumping (as claimed) nor non-random organization of water molecules at all. So it's mostly BS with 1 possible exception near the boundaries of containers (some call 'EZ' water), but those conditions are really a function of water tension and surface tension interplay (which any "memory effect" would disappear as soon as another molecule knocks one out - which happens billions of times per second).
Vortexing of water really only has the effect of trapping more gasses (shaking traps more), but the frequency absorption or emission ( RF, IR, Vis, UV, etc) effects stop when agitation stops and any trapped gas is released in a pretty short period of time, so benefits there would be little (pH would fall with absorption of CO2, so slight acidity may be good? who knows).
As far as calcification of arteries, most evidence points to high carbohydrate intake (sugar), which causes inflammation and the arterial repair systems go into overdrive (the makeup of arterial plaque is not alien to the body - in small amounts, it's necessary to maintain a healthy circulatory system). Alcohol is the other culprit depending on the person's metabolism, metabolites may include acetone (you heard it here - yes, nail polish remover!). Next time you see someone with diabetes that's not taking their insulin properly, or hang out with an alcoholic, take a whiff of air and see if you can smell a trace of acetone from their breath.

    2. minerals in tap water are not good source for your cells as they are mostly non assimilated. Maybe 5% are assimilated not more. Most of the minerals are mainly limescale which clogs your arteries. veins see book from Dr norman walker water can undermine your health
Conclusion: useva reverse osmosis filter with prefiltering using silver impregnated filters or distilled water.

We an tell when the inspector is coming because the smell of bleach will knock you over. The worse part is we cannot have a reverse osmosis unit because the filters are fouled. Different wavelengths of light grow different bacteria. There is no "pure water". It's all radio active and try filtering that. I bought a very good iron and the instructions say to use tap water so the water won't leach out the metals in the iron. I use an RO system and soak salt, potassium and mag in the water. Not sure what to do about the "carbon" filters as carbon can be any recycled trash and bacteria grow on carbon. More bacteria come out of the carbon filters than go into it.

Your failure to realize that filtering city water around the world is essential. To remove the majority of things that you shouldn’t be drinking. OMG this guy is crazy uninformed on this topic.
His filters only look that bad because his water source has tons of particulates. I'm guessing he's using well water. If so, he needs to install a whole house 5 micron triple filter with Ultraviolet BEFORE the water reaches the reverse osmosis setup under the sink. The ultraviolet will kill any bacteria before it reaches the kitchen sink filter. These are only around $200 with filters costing around $40 per year if you buy in bulk. However, this isnt necessary if you're using city tap water.
    Also:
    - The first filter he held up was black because its a carbon filter! It's filled with black powder and its wet when he's holding it. It's supposed to look like that.
    - The reverse osmosis filter has a pore size of only 1 nanometer! That's insanely small. The smallest viruses known are about 15 nanometers big. The virus filters hospitals use for syringes are 10 nanometer pore size. So he definitely doesnt need to worry about bacteria or viruses getting through his existing filter setup.
    - Most under sink filtration systems systems now have a 5th or 6th stage where minerals get added back to the water just before it exits the tap, ready to drink. I have one and it makes the water taste like Fiji water. You can feel the smoothness of the silica on your tongue....It's great. Search iSpring on Amazon.

Water treatment choice imo depends on where you live & its water source. When my Dad passed away from cancer, including secondary bone cancer, I realised that our area had a noticeably higher rate of primary & secondary bone cancer than my country's average.
So I started to investigate. Numerous reputable studies show that if in a hard water area, bones, joints and even arteries can become damaged if water is drunk straight from the tap over time. Fluoride also adds to this issue.
I didn't want the faff of reverse osmosis fitted. Also, people say that they wish they'd never had it fitted as drinking water can taste mouldy, even when they change the filter/s.
So I decided on an Epic water filter. It was great but at £46 a filter, I was disappointed when mine was so slow after less than 4 weeks & then packed up. Now I twice filter. Once through an inexpensive & very long lasting Waterdrop pitcher to get rid of some of the chalky deposits. Then from the Waterdrop into the Epic water pitcher & voila! My Epic filter now lasts for 3-4 months easily. All it needs is an occasional wash out. The Waterdrop I dismantle & wash out in mild washing up water every couple of days as that's not refrigerated. The water doesn't stagnate in it though as it's continuously used & flushed through.
Both pitchers and filters are BPA free too.
The trouble with our machine size mineral water containers is that they're plastic. It's not usually stated if they are BPA free or how long the water has been in the plastic.
A good double filter system is great for me. Water is crystal clear, tastes perfect. Never any nasties detected. My kettle never gets scaled up like they used to either. & I've avoided possible prolonged plastic seepage into my drinking water.
I only became a water geek after seeing my Dad's skeleton drastically deteriorate so fast. Particularly his spine. He was a keen sportsman most of his life so this was even more awful. Exercising for all those years meant that he was always drinking tap water. Made me think that there may be something in this hard water & too much fluoride ingestion theory.

Ok,answer this.If there is chlorine in the water that is being filtered, why doesn't the chlorine kill the bacteria growing on the filter itself? Yes,I know that these filters don't filter out all the bacteria or any viruses. But mask don't either and yet we were forced to wear them! And most people bought into this crap and complied with the gov't. Wearing a mask can only be beneficial for people who are already sick and theyre coughing and releasing bacteria or viruses into the air immediately around them. But if it's an airborne disease, theyre useless. Like many doctors tried to inform people, and were being banned from social media platforms, like YT,wearing a mask to prevent getting or spreading Covid is as effective as building a chain link fence around your house to keep out mosquitos! I studied microbiology and I knew this. Is filtering the water you drink important,or necessary in the first place? I think it is to a degree. And yet why are our U.S. GMO food products being banned in many countries? What do their scientist and doctors know? And many of our processed foods? Why are there so many man made chemicals being added to our food? Things that many of our own scientist and doctors know aren't good for people. And yet they don't say much or anything. And the media doesn't report this to us. Why is fluoride still being added to the water? You want to help in preventing tooth decay, quit eating and buying food with so much sugar in it in the first place! Sugar is highly damaging to our bodies and the rise of diabetes, and the many deaths and from it,are still growing. Where's the huge antisugar campaign like we see the anti tobbacco ads? How big is the bottled water industry? Do you think they want people buying filters to make the water taste better? I've been using Doulton and Aquacera filters for a few years now. Does my filtered water taste better? You bet! I wouldn't be buying them if it didn't. I lived in California for most of my life. I just moved to Florida last month. The tap water in Cali tasted horrible compared to here in Port Orange Florida. When I moved to San Jose from Whittier,my filters turned brown in a few months. And the pipes in my house were newer than the ones in house in Whittier. San Jose's water was the worst I've tasted.

Bacteria in water can certainly be a killer.
But if the filters say 3-6 months, you would probably have to go well beyond that to have even mildly harmful levels.
Legionella is a killer, and found quite commonly in water systems that do not get cleaned out, or hot enough to naturally kill it.

Science has proven there is no *should* for how much water to drink. You drink when you're thirsty. Outside of humans, not one species on this planet drinks water based on math. Not one. And we are also animals. We have a feeling called "thirst". If you are stressed out and maybe ignoring natural thirst signals, take just a few seconds each couple of hours and sense if you're thirsty. That's how common sense and science both lead us to drinking the right amount of water. You don't need math.

I don't use under the sink / inline filters; just a 22 cup filter tank that I use to stock 8 gallons of water in plastic water jugs. Of course your used filters weigh more than new filters. Beyond what they filtered, most of that weight is almost certainly because they're wet inside. So it's meaningless to make a conclusion about the two filters you showed that don't allow you to see the filter material. As for minerals, of course you need minerals in your diet but you seem to forget the fact that you get the vast majority of minerals in the food you eat and you're almost certainly drinking other things besides your tap water. You're making way too much of an issue about minerals in water. The odd thing about this review is that you clearly use several filters in your system and yet you recommend NOT using filters. (?)

your going to find that heavily mineral containing water is very problematic. For a mineral to be usable by the human body in good measure, it has to be taken in by a plant and essentially turned into a colloid. Basically it is the difference between getting that nice reddish brown version of copper which YOU WOULD DIE without, or getting that corroded green gunk that is also copper on the inside of water pipes (extremely toxic variant). Same thing with iron...you get a bunch of it in say a curry leaf, or you could do what modern wheat factories do and simple grind off some nail filings and place that in your loaf or cereal (PS you can see MANY videos on this metal being EXTRACTED in youtube videos by strong magnets = THE AMOUNT is obviously macro and therefore BRUTAL on health) sadly most doing those videos seem to think this is a normal part of nutrition...yet if you were to take those highly iron containing CURRY LEAVES and do the same experiment on them, you would find ZERO macro types of iron...all of it would be highly chelated. Also in the proper valence and spin state for it's molecules, so a strong magnet would lack the power to pull it around like it can in the commercial cereals experiments. The orbits and valences of this BIOLOGICALLY conducive form of iron are only enough to hold them in place with one another. The toxic macro iron which is in about 99% of drug store pills for this supplementation simply are useless for nutrition in this sense, they will enter the body and be eliminated OR stored in tissue until such substances build to toxic levels.

The problem with spring water nowadays,is that they may be even more contaminated with pesticides than tap water, particularly TCE and PCE,which are both known to cause Parkinsons and Dementia. If you drink spring water, you need to check for these contaminants. My solution: I use tap water, filtered with a ceramic pot,and treated with colloidal silver. You can find how to do this on YT. By law, spring water which is transported via tanker truck to the bottling company is required to have chlorine added to it for transport, and then the chlorine is filtered back out via charcoal before bottling. Thus the minerals are probably added back in artificially. The amount of fuel used to transport, bottle, transport AGAIN plus the plasticizers make tap water healthier -see your town report-. Mine has PFAS from old jewelry factory that leached so I must use NSF 53 level (Frizzlife triple stage filters) ... I probably should buy a silver pitcher too now that I think of it...

Your theories on this subject are not very convincing:
    1. Any bacteria present in the water dispensed from my counter-top reverse osmosis filter would be killed as a result of being flash heated to 95 degrees Census, which is the setting I have it set to dispense at. Furthermore, the filter is changed once a year anyway. Even if there were any bacteria in the water dispensed, this unit kills any remaining bacteria still present in the internal filtered water reservoir prior to dispensing it by subjecting it to UV light.
    2. In terms of removing healthy minerals naturally present in the water, the level of minerals in clean drinking water is so low as to be dwarfed by the levels found in food. Effectively, when food consumption is taken into consideration, people drinking nothing but reverse osmosis water, or even distilled water, get effectively the same quantity of minerals as those drinking tap or bottled water, assuming both groups otherwise have a similar diet.
    3. I'm more concerned by the many contaminants still present in tap or bottled water, including birth control hormones, fluoride or microplastics, than missing out on microscopic traces of minerals that might be good for me.
