The POV instruction is great
Thanks for the positive feedback. I wanted to try something new. I’ll keep them going.
@@GabrielVargaOfficial definitely you should continue with.
Maybe you could do a video in the future on combinations with switch stances in them. Like the rear teep fake into southpaw stance and rear (or new lead) hand.
Petr Yan and Dustin Porier use them a lot too to cover distance. It's definitely something to surprise and catch your opponent.
I barely ever comment, but love the uniqueness of your content and character. Such a likeable persona. Thanks to you I have been able to improve my fight game so much!
Huge thank you and much love!
I love these POV videos! Gives a feeling of what it feels like for the opponent.
What did you think of the leon edwards knockout on Usman
Actually still haven’t seen it as I’ve been travelling.
@@GabrielVargaOfficial if you get a chance watch the set up was pitch perfect
@@GabrielVargaOfficial it's exactly what you talked about on your Chito Vera video. And that thumbnail looks exactly like the dangerous thing to do when kicks are involved
@@seetsamolapo5600 he says to dodge off center and then into your opponent, so after the dodge you should be closer to the opponent than before, close enough he says that a follow up cross is difficult for the opponent to throw at you in that distance.
If your too close for a follow up cross to land do you think your opponent has the range to land a headkick?
@@GabrielVargaOfficial the timing was almost oerfect with your recent video of upbeat/quick 1-2-3 combo ending with a kick! And volkanovski was giving the same tip within that hour of your video!
Thanks for sharing the view, that's awesome! Very good content, as always.
This point of view thing is a game changer
Thats one beautifull large plot of land 😵💫 youre lucky man 🫡
Welcome to Miami, Gabriel!
You're great
Thank you from Syria
Good game!! 💎
Awesome videos man !
Thank you for the video!
It’s interesting and helpful to hear what technique is effective in certain situations ( the lazy jabb) .
Appreciate it 👍👊🙏
How would you handle McGregor’s guard? He keeps an arm extended palm forward. This is similar to the jab arm position except that is extended all the time. He seems to use this to create distance and to set up opponents for a hook or cross punch. And I supposed he could use it to start a grab or takedown.
If you are a southpaw then you can land jabs easily. If you are an orthodox then, You have to try nullifying that as he does it to bait a right hand which he can counter with his famous left
Lets shout out to Gab's wife and camerawoman for those angles and throwing the jabs 😄🙌🏾
Make a video about “what makes Gokhan Saki so good” please
I''ll second this!
@@ReverentGhost he prolly wont make coz “Modern Martial Artist” is his friend who already made a Gokhan Saki breakdown but we never knowww
@@ohsneezyworldwide9000 modern martial artist made videos on Buakaw and Petrosyan but Gabe still made videos on them, there’s still hope for a Gokhan Saki video!
@@Nergal123 yessir 🔥🔥🔥
How would that work for Jab + Left High Kick attack? (aka Leon Edwards vs Kamaru Usman)
Keep your non punching hand glued to your head as you slip
this was neato, thanks!
Thank you sir
Amazing
I want to learn 2 ways to slip the jab and counter
Please make a video how to counter the body shot.
Could you consider doing more follow along boxing videos that'd be great :)
make video on , what Makes Hiroki akimoto so good ?
🔥🔥
beautiful day :)
Can you do a tutorial on the brazilian kick?
Irishman, boxer, good pull counter... So you know Conor MacGregor?! Lol
Slipping the jab and coming back with the right hand can be incredibly dangerous as if someone puts their cross behind the jab it will always beat your slip and cross counter. Many fighters have been knocked out doing this.
Hi Gabriel! Thank you for the knowledge! Could you please help me with an advice ? I keep getting my intercostal muscles hurt, especially around the lower part of the rib cage. What is the best way prevent this?
What if you get countered with a right hand while using the pull counter against the jab ? I saw that happen to Mayweather once.
There is no perfect defense.
Throw a jab after you pull and then a cross. Your jab will land before their cross, opening them up for your own cross.
