Lovely fabrics, love the pattern. The fabric is pronounced ba-teek, took me a minute to figure out what u meant by bat-ick.

Wouldn't it be easier to rotate the ruler back and forth, than to lay the cut out pieces on top and then cut with the ruler in the same orientation as the first cut?
