  • We finally had some time to sit down and share with you what went down the last couple of weeks - from my father’s condition, my hand injury, Nem’s French fail, to welcoming baby Ethan!
To say that our birth story was a crazy experience (especially with everything that's going on in the world) would be an understatement, but in the end we couldn’t be more ecstatic knowing that our baby is safe and healthy.
We hope that you liked this video and for new parents, we hope that you were enlightened with our story!

So glad your Dad is better. Oh gosh your wrist looked so sore. My waters broke early with my first and i feel all of the proding and poking and stress then an epidural led to an emergency c section then all the stress and epidutal led to issues with breastfeeding. i read up so much and got an awesome consultant to agree to a drug free home birth for my second child. It was a very healiing experience with very supportive midvies. I used hypnobirthing and it was a lot quicker. With my third they had no midwives so we had to go in hospital. They wanted to do lots of interventions but after a long birth and listening to my body, had a lovely water birth which i documented on here. It does sound like you were experiencing natural birth. Im surprised that they just didnt just allow you to naturally progress it sounded like you were naturally pushing the baby out (fetal ejection reflex) especially as the drugs could have stopped the contractions completely. Im so sorry you had to go through all of this and i am sorry that baby Ethan had the marks on his face. It is sad that lots of these unncessary interventions can cause the birth experience to be so traumatic and stressful. I started my channel to try and help women not to have to go through all of this. Thank you for being honest and sharing ❤❤❤

Nothing ever prepares you but you both did an amazing job and Kim love goes out to you with Marika my contractions were too quick that I missed the time for Epidural so it was gas only and pushing 4 hours maximum and then with Cienna I opted for Epidural and that took ages 8 hours later. I can tell you now that all the bad memories passes and the great ones overide that with bub xx

Yes that is so true! It’s an indescribable feeling. Looking back on it natural would have been faster. Maybe if I had gas I would have been able to get through it. The epi just slowed and numbed everything. Yes your right! Even though it was a bad experience the happy times with baby overrides it all. Thanks for watching! 💖😘😘

Lol. I love Nem’s face when Kim talks about the stirrup defying gravity 🙄 haha.
Oh such an emotional roller coaster from week 6. Just listening 😣 My heart ❤️ I hope things are much better now.
Kim for your wrist, once theres no open wounds apply rose hip oil daily. It’s great for scars. It may need a good 2 years and the scarring will be almost non existent x or there’s one called dermatix which is great too and may take only half the time x

I work in the operating theatre assisting the anaesthetist in Caesarian sections and other births and I have to say your story sounds so far off what should have happened. The midwives, nurses, anaesthetists and fellow ODPs I work with are incredible in what we do and I know you and any future babies would be in the safest of hands with us. I’m so please Ethan is doing well x
