Mesoamericanos(native Americans) did came from north east Asia, however, they splits from East Asian very long time ago, so they’re now grouped in different DNA categories with their cousins in Asia, even the pure blooded ones( no mixture). nowadays, very few people are true blooded, we are all mixed somehow, because we are all came from Africa but don’t look black at all.

Asian features are prominent in latinoamérica because their indigenous ancestors migrated from prehistoric Asia. When water levels were lower, there was a land bridge connecting Alaska to Russia. It’s also theorized that ancient Pacific Asians sailed to the Americas. Notice native Hawaiians also look Asian (Hawaii is halfway between USA & the south pacific islands). Also another comment mentioned Shel’s makeup & aesthetic is popular in Asia and I think emphasizes her indigenous features.

Northeast Asian populations migrated about 12.000 ago spreading all over America. That's probably why most people have this same impression of resemblance between Asian and Latin American people. Genetics are truly fascinating. People from central-northern east Asia will have commonalities in DNA results with many people from Latin America. Muy buenas preciosa

exactly. I think the last place colonised on Earth was Patagonia (maybe the Pacific Islands?). Furthest point from Africa (our origin). Patagonians… such a sad story. Genocide😢 if you want to get depressed read about the last Patagonian Indian on wikipedia. They even killed their dogs (extinct) because the Patagonians needed their dogs to live😢

A beautiful Colombian from head to toe. The people making these comments have never been to Japan or Korea. You would have to walk a long time through the streets in Tokyo or Seoul Korea to find someone that looks like you who has not had plastic surgery. In other words they wish they look like you and if you are pure Colombian you look Asian because you have indigenous genes that are very strong because indigenous people look Asian the more pure indigenous you are the more Asian you look

Ancestry's a lot better than MyHeritage (your kit can be uploaded there, too), but I think MyHeritage (and 23AndMe) have better sub-regions. I just tested my dad on 23AndMe (did Ancestry before). 100% Polish with a paternal line going back to Siberians. Some of those Siberians crossed the Bering Strait. My dad's paternal line stayed and likely tagged along with Genghis Khan to Eastern Europe.
The Spanish is probably in the Italian and Nigerian. This looks like the v0.95 results (v2.0 or v2.5 would be less "random").
