Looks cheaply 3d printed with less than $30 worth of parts. Crazy pricing. People are still buying it though. Could be a fun project to do on your own.
Hmmm the 2 in a box was $300 which we'll say roughly means the trap was $150... this smoke kit costs more than the trap itself but it is perfectly made!
when i built my pack i included TVG kit to include the smoke kit ect. i added roasted mallow scent to the fog liquid, been doing it for years. i always like the idea that after getting covered in stay puft mallow in GB1 that sure you can clean the pack, but you'll never get all the residue out of the cracks and crevices, so when the pack gets hot (then overheats) it will emit a roasted mallow scent.
@@TheJustinc23 The enclosure should be pretty simple to print, the dimensions of the inside of the trap are already online. I do alot of 3d printing and that enclosure should not cost that much for someone to print.
now that people are starting to get these i think its be super helpful to make a video about the ways to holster the trap+pedal because that's an issue for a lot of people
Its cool to see this stuff coming out already, but based on how things went with the haslab proton packs, I'd give it six months or so. A lot of mods makers are going to be trying to be first to market for awhile, and it was frustrating to do a mod and then a few months later see something come out that was better or more affordable. It will take some time for the dust to settle and the best products to rise to the top
Do you have any new information on shipping for the two in the box, I'm getting impatient, and a little irritated, it's been a week since my label was created and I still got nothing besides that.
@@RyanWeber84when I bought the proton pack, we got no updates on the label until the day before it was supposed to ship, so that might be what will happen with you.
No one has any information. The shipping label being created just means the US warehouse is expecting them any day now. Which means they're probably on this side of the Pacific, but are either waiting in the Port of Los Angeles for the freight forwarder to grab the container(s) or for said freight forwarder to get them to Hasbro. We're at the peak of logistics season right now, so who knows. That SEA and EU are getting theirs already shows that the factory has already dispatched. So now it's in the hands of the freight forwarders.
@@bedfordshiremodeller4491 It's a vape pen connected to a fan and a water pump. It's extremely easy to do and has been used in the community to make traps and packs smoke.
Seems cool and I can think of other props this might work for, but having to unscrew the whole panel to refill the fog juice and then screw it back on again seems like a wee bit of a hassle.
I’d like to see a way to make the fogger go with the sequence, maybe a remote behind the pedal or a sensor to make it go off on the doors closed maybe the sensor could go behind the doors or something to that effect
From my experience building these, I can say the markup cost is unreal. Id say cost of the build is approx $50-$75 per unit. Good for him as he will sell a ton, but Im all set and will try my hand at one for a fraction of the price hes charging. Jason, would you be so kind to send me the dimensions of the box? Pretty please with marshmallows on top? lol
It looks like my original comment got caught by a filter so I'll try again. Experience Explorers did an unboxing too and showed off both the trap interior and exterior dimensions in detail. Give it a look!
For 180 bucks I can't believe the thing is sold out. I'm going to wait for one that allows you to tie into the traps Electronics itself and has a built-in timer so that it goes off when the Trap itself closes well instead of having to hit a button. Look I will get some of that roasted mallow fog smoke though when I need to
Probably a stretch, but my Haslab Proton Pack delivered Friday Jan 13th, 2023. I’m predicting my Two in the Box will deliver this Friday Dec 13th 2024! Haha… 😂😩😭
That fogger is fucking loud it is distinctly loud when it's done and letting fog out you can tell it's running. It's cool but I feel like there's something that can be a lot quieter or at least build up enough so that it gets pushed out after with minimal sound and the sound of the fogger can be muffled by the trap noises that are made
Wow that is an amazing ghost trap you got there Jason and I like how you added the marshmallow sent for the smoke in the ghost trap to add the effects to it, nice work! Love this video Jason
This may be a coincidence, but I nudged the trap with my foot, like when Slimer was caught, and it stopped the beeping after capture, and made the ghost sound. I repeated this three times, and did the same thing each time. Can anyone else confirm this?
Same. A very nice piece of work and not saying it isn't worth the price considering all the effort and components that go into it...but it'll be a while before I can afford to put that much money into something like this, as cool as it is.

I train a mouse to smoke and see if that works....
Now we just need a parts list and build guide to make it ourselves.
Vape pen, tiny fan, aquarium air pump, and a battery to run it all. There you go. Will cost you about $50 instead of the $200 this clown is charging.
It needs to be cut back atad further as it,s covering the micro USB B port

Why did they make the default bargraph animation scroll the wrong direction?
I noticed that too.
You can change the scrolling modes at the front
@stewartmcminn7773 Yes I know that. I was pointing out that it defaults out of the box to the backward animation
Better question, why is the bargraph note progression reversed? ;)
Supposedly, it resest to the incorrect pattern every time you turn it on.
