I just realised something! If you look on Zooey’s (alien girl from shadow high series two) it says novi or nova stars all over the place, and on her shirt is has the doll with the half white half black face!
I never had any dolls, but I love the artwork & designs of the characters and pets. If the line had a lure, maybe it could be something like this: Area 51 scientists sent messages to each planet to get some interactions with the alien species & learn about them in video form, as part of an exchange program with Earthlings. Also, they should add boys to the line with names like "Mikey Way," "Astro Naunt," "Ozzie Mosis," "Lil' Dipper," and "Orion."
i'm from Russia and that's the reason i have almost all novis except nita light, cici thru and orbit beach mae tallic. in comparison with ebay prices russian ones are really cheap and there are more dolls available. im a huge fan of novi stars, thats my fav doll line with whom I grew up🥺 im curently working on creating the unreleased zombie girl and hope i'll manage🤞

I am floored by this whole line. Yes I wanna see a video of your dolls! These are stellar if I had known about them I would have bought like crazy. I don't even mind the less articulated part. If it keeps the cost down and let's them go batshit crazy with detail a non articulated doll is ok. It's also fine since they're on the smaller side. I genuinely want one and the non released ones are STELLAR I almost wish someone 3d printed them based on the models and sold them. Granted we'd have to paint them ourselves but hey it'd work until mga found out

I always wanted Mimi Merize since her stick photos came out. Its a shame that the last Novi Star dolls go for so much on eBay if you can find what you've wanted after the cancellation of something simple, stellar, ootw, dolls with nice gimmicks and cute personalities along with amazing art!
They have been heavily discounted in the UK 5 or 6 years ago. I wish I would have bought more. I am glad I could put my hands on some especially Vera Tabray. She is so cool. I adore Novi Stars. I have found the playset for 50 pence in a boot sale. I got rid of it, it was badly discoloured and was taking too much space. What I really wanted is the adorable doll (excellent condition and complete!) that I am delighted to have found for that great price! I think Novi Stars are more figurines or collectables to display than dolls designed to be played with. They are fragile and unsuitable for play. That is probably why they did not sell that well. Don't get me started on the ridiculous second hand prices... 🤯😤😡
I love Novi Stars!! Sadley when they were out I could only find the first wave and i think the energy pod. I thought they were discontinued after that :(. I had the Ari Roma and Alie Electric dolls.
I remember having tula toned and the Roe Botik curl and coil dolls, and I wish I was older when they came out cause of their aesthetic and general look I would’ve kept them up for display..

You mention that it is harder for people outside the US to find Novi Stars, but tbh, we find deals here in Europe that are way better people selling them between €5 and €25 (€25 often NIB). I even found one in a toy store last year (she had obviously sitting on the shelf for a looong time).

I love love updated novi starts but with updated articulation. Non-articulated dolls are a pet peeve of mine

I started collecting these dolls since the day I layed my eyes on them, so happy to see them get recognition.
