Almyrida Crete, walking tour 4k, Greece 2022

Almyrida is a seaside resort village located in the Apokoronas region of the northwest coast of the island of Crete, Greece. The village is approximately 20 kilometers from Chania, in the Chania regional unit. Traditionally a fishing village, Almyrida has a long beach.

I think I've eaten in almost all the tavernas and restaurants here and always had good quality food! The people who work along here were so nice! And the beach hut at the end was so peaceful at the end of the day! Almyrida has a special place in my heart after spending 2014 there for the whole year. I consider myself very lucky!

Would Almyrida be a good location for a young family?
Everyone I speak to says Crete is amazing, food, lifestyle, lovely people etc....
