And still only got a couple inches of penetration , you didn’t shoot a quality “tripan” you just got lucky . The fact you would give credit to the broadhead is so frustrating
Another thing to note is idk his setup on the bow but if I had to guess it’s set at the max draw weight.. sorry not everyone can pull back 70-80lbs like you or I.. atleast he he recovered the animal and it died much faster then if it were hit in the guts. He’s not out here bragging about it he’s giving credit to a broad head that did its job. And the job is exactly what he said in the short about broad heads. That could have gone down way worse then what it did
@@Petrock51 no he literally started hyping up rage tripans. If he never would have found his bull he would be blaming them .. your statements are invalid he literally got lucky could of also hit the jugular with a fixed blade just as lucky as he did with his junk rage
We never said we didn’t get extremely lucky. However, in the game of bowhunting, inches are literally everything in the event of a bad shot. We’ll take a wider cut from a better broadhead any day for those instances.
@@thegivenright2654 this guys acting like he’s the perfect bow hunter and never made a bad shot on an animal. And if you haven’t I wish you more luck because someday you will make a bad shot and I can guarantee you if you’re using a fixed blade you’re not gonna recover that animal. I watched the video clearly he hit it in the fucking jugular in that situation. Canik gonna be better. It’s a bigger wider area, the hidden artery in the throat. 😂 has nothing to do with penetration. I strongly believe in fixed blade broadheads
u got lucky, end of story...shit happens for sure an when u released ur arrow, he def turned back quick, but it was all luck that the arrow hit where it did. beautiful bull tho an congrats!! not the first time ive seen u take a marginal hit on an animal tho either...
Its all same bleeding out is bleeding out weather it be from the neck or from the heart animals have so much adrenaline pumping through their body that they don't feel pain the way we do so he probably only felt thst prick the way we feel a needleprick and took off till it started feeling sleepy and collapsed @@thegivenright2654
Shit happens...but the replay showing your "point of aim" and where the arrow went is wrong. of course the animal moved but he camera was also moving changing perspective. You just plain old main a bad shot and the elk movement made it worse. Again it happens but...
We placed a dot on where the shot was aimed at the point of release, and it clearly shows that it was all to do with unfortunate timing. It would be impossible to aim where the arrow ended up hitting. Just one of those freak things.
Came here from the WCB Podcast. Crazy “turn” of events but glad it turned out well in the end. Congrats on a fantastic bull!
Thanks for watching! Appreciate you stopping by from WCB! 👊

@ man I been watching you since the primos days I’m gonna get around to coming to some shows seeing some of you guys in person
Looks like he swiveled because of the camera man moving to get a better angle. It happens and glad it worked out.

Not really if that was a fixed blade it might not have cut an artery like it appears.. show me a 2 inch diameter cutting fixed blade please.

Jugler shots are lethal. Every time.
Obviously not the ideal shot placement, but man it was deadly. Thanks for watching!
Had a whitetail do that to me once

It's true, sometimes we get lucky, but the outcome is still the same! 😉

@@thegivenright2654 that is so not true, the orginal footage of the shot shows that it would’ve been a very high shot even if he had stood still
@@thegivenright2654he didn’t duck, he only turned. Your shot was high to start with
