These are some of the most realistic videos out there on vanlife. Taking walks, eating good food, just chilling. Low key living your best life. Utah is beautiful!! 😍 I love a good snow day. Can't wait until we get some snow in PA so I can bust out the snowshoes! You handled those snowy roads like a champ! Safe travels ✌️
I had a very easy time getting my Nevada residency earlier this year. Got a 30-day rental agreement on a Monday, went into the DMV on Tuesday morning and walked out with a 8-year drivers license. I use Traveling Mailbox for my mailing address, with a Las Vegas address. Happy to answer any questions anyone has.
Hi Brian, I really enjoy your videos, because they are very informative and really show a lot about who you are. You are so well organized, you always think and plan ahead, and are a very good source for other nomads to learn the tricks of the trade. I admire how you are always in touch with your finances and what you need to do for work at times to keep your wonderful lifestyle affordable. You allow for maintenance on your rig and you plan for health care if needed. You are an amazing individual. Thank you for your beautiful presentations of your various stays and beautiful scenery. Thank you also for sharing your peace loving spirit with so many of us. Always a friend, Louise
Brain is the best nomad channel on Y T. He is also very humble. Went to his meet up a few years back. He is such a cool dude. Hope he does another one someday.
I have been subscribed to Brian's channel since he was driving a van. Many adventures, many beautiful places he's taken us to through his videos. What a wonderful guy. I would like to live like this someday. Thanks Brian! ✌️✌️
I lived in Cedar City as a kid. Beautiful part of the country. St. George is nicknamed Dixie because at one point Brigham Young tried to get the Mormons to grow cotton there due to the climate. They had way better success planting grapes and creating a winery, believe it or not. Dixie wine was a thing at one point. There is a giant rock there called Dixie point where locals sit on top to watch the sunset.
Thanks for taking us with you on rhe journey 🙂 im currently stationary atm but miss being on the road so much. For now you and a handful of other folks and what yall share are my connection to the nomad life
Another awesome video, thank you! It’s nice to see you relaxing. And as usual, love to see you back cooking again. God bless you, love from Northern Colorado.
I'm looking forward to the exclusive video. I'm curious how a lot of things work when you're a mobile nomad. Like voting owning and insuring a vehicle. One day, I hope to be out there, but family obligations come first. So, for now, I just sit and absorb all the info I can until it's my turn 😊
Hi Brian, just wanted to say hi and let you know I’m still out here fulltime and watching all your videos. We met nearly 9 years ago at Craggy Wash. Take care and God bless.
Just stay safe driving Brian 🙏❤️. I'm glad you can slowly work your way south and enjoy yourself. I'm guessing you will be home by Christmas with your family ❤. Much love 💝
Brain I enjoyed your trip to Utah , it is beautiful there. It is nice to see you just chilling out , driving to the southern part of the country. I think it is a good idea having a permanent place to take care of yourself. You are a true camper, and you make it look easier than it is! Have you thought about getting a dog? They are good compay! Well you take care,as always , and enjoy your break from work! Peace 😊
Aloha thanks for all your sharing, education, knowledge, you have been a blessing to motivate me and many others .thank goodness you have been able to share your experiences with all of us who many be timid, 😮 I hope you have a blessed season ahead.Bishop 😊
Interesting plans you have for Winter; getting caught up on the maintenance and logistics side of nomad life. I applaud your businesslike, preventive mindset. Thanks again for sharing.
Followed you for many years and enjoy your adventures. It's amazing that you can be so self contained and can land about anywhere for days at a time. Lots if solitude, burritos and chicken wings! Thanks for taking us along and best of luck !
Nice trip. I remember leaving my cabin in Marysvale Ut, and hitting a blizzard on l-70 West, but by the time l hit St George, it was 70* Same state, but 2 different climates.
I've been following you since your 1st South dakota video when you were in the Black Hills. No thrills No frills No drama! Just the way I like it. If you're ever in Meadview AZ, I have a little place there too. Let me know! I'm not always there, but you're more than welcome to it. Shower Laundry Everything you need!
Hey Brian, That drive through the snow looked kind of tricky Glad you had an 18-wheeler in front of you. You should have a camping cooking show your food looks fantastic. Be safe my friend
loved the slightly longer video this time and that you showed more of your normal routine. I feel like a lot of van lifers get tired of that pretty quickly and all they wanna do is talk lol. i’m thinking about where to do my residency soon as well i appreciate your opinion in that video when it comes. away we go!
Hey Brian, I was wondering if you have ever considered installing a DC to DC charger in conjunction with your solar set up. I have a 50 amp DC to DC charger and it keeps my batteries toped off on those cloudy days while driving or if you are in camp you can run the engine a little while to top off the batteries. I am not sure if you have lithium batteries or not but they will take the full 50 amps and top them off in no time. I do not really rely on my Solar as much since installing the system it is a real game changer when boon docking and moving every few days.I really enjoy your videos makes me want to get back out on the road soon….Happy trails!
I have had one for years but have yet to install it. My battery bank has never been below 85% in the last 3 1/13 years with this setup so I haven't felt the need to install it. 👍🏼
I love that stretch of I70. Have you explored the Fremont Indian State Park at all? Its quite a nice area. Where you are staying now is a cool spot, but if rain is predicted - get out of there. That's one of the places Matt's Recovery is always pulling people out of. The red dirt turns to instant grease. Its clay. Your plan for NV sounds very reasonable for so many reasons. If I had known you were coming through, you could have camped out in my yard! Safe travels and happy holidays to you Brian!
You find the best places. I would trade wearing a jacket to be able to hang out by that stream too. N8ce to be in a earmer spot too, so pretty. Can't tell its near a highway. Safe travels. 🙂👍
Always love to see Brian in notifications🤗I have been wondering why you don't have an off grid piece of property when you want to come in for a landing😂I stay in a forest resort, as many do from may-sept in northern mich People camp on their lot The HOA maintains a beach on Rose lake, bathrooms/shower, dumpsters, a park/covered eating area, septic dump station&water It is pretty nice Tc Brian❤
@cindylou2313 lots are owned monthly fee depends on your cost of purchasing&how you finance it HOA fees vary by how much you own look up rose lake forest homeowners association hope that helps😊
Great video Brian. I like your style of just taking it as it comes but being smart about it. Utah has been good to you it appears. Looks like a good place to stop and “ charge the batteries” for a few days. Nothing wrong with tee shirt weather after a few cold and dreary days. Thanks for taking the time and sharing!
Always learn something from your vids, and just enjoy learning about the process of the traveling, finding places to stop and especially your insights into van life!
It cost you more to wash your clothes than to wash yourself. :) Most of the times I've gone to St. George I went from clear skies to thunderstorms. Yay, you got the opposite.
You have all that space to put more solar panels on trailer and just plug in or put another battery system in trailer just saying . Always a way with power lol. I have 420 on roof and 130 on hood. And 200 amp hower agm ready to get a 2cnd one.
That little stream/river looked like it was aching for 4wt and a wooly bugger. Surprised you didn't try a little fishing. Your meals looked great but you may want to read a bit about the choline in eggs and chicken skin and limit your consumption to reduce your risk of prostate cancer. Just an fyi from someone who didn't. Love watching the freedom you exemplify in your videos.
Downsizing...I've heard you say that a time or two before. Some stuff accumulated just ain't needed. Hope your preventative maintenance doesn't cost too much.
Thank you, Brian. I have had to drive roads that were like that to get to Arizona, last January. Knowing when to stop and wait for the snow plows to catch up is key. I spent one night in a Motel on my way back to homebase because I don't have auxiliary heat in the minivan and the Walmart was on a busy road with railroad across the street and it was getting down to 11*F. I budgeted for way more pay camping and hotels than I needed. I had a wonderful time and would have loved to have stay a full 2 months before returning to homebase, but obligations did not allow it... Maybe next year... Nevada is a beautiful state and they have really nice services for seniors. Their medical care is good too, but then my homebase is in a state that is not doing well for anyone especially the young and the old. I don't know what I will relocate when I downsize, because my children are not far away from here, but quality of life is higher statistically in some neighboring states. It has been nice to follow your journey through the years. I have learned so much that has made my time out on the road, enjoyable and enriching. Thank you for taking us along on your adventures all these years. ❤😊
Not sure if you have an air fryer in your van, but you should try making wings with it, whatever sauce of choice. Every time I see a GM U-Haul, really makes me want to find one, convert the inside and do a 4wd conversion. Basically live out of it like you are and promote my mobile business. Nevada is a great place to call home. I’m currently in Vegas. If you’re looking to get rid of any tools or anything when you pass through, I might be interested in what you have.
Love those tortillas, too‼️ They're the closest store-bought to the ones my mom used to make.😊 Thanks for sharing your journey, I so enjoy your videos ❣️ Safe travels.
Enjoy the downtime. Getting repairs done before breakdowns is the way to go. Always follow the Old Midas motto; “Pay me now or Pay me later!” Now is always CHEAPER than later. 👍😢👍
I think he needs a 2nd channel cooking with Brian. And a recipe book. Most utubers I've seen become millionaires sold a book on Amazon and mwntion it everyday
Good idea for getting snow off your solar panels, if it’s not frozen snow, a leaf blower. I’ve used my cordless blower to clear my windshield and blow off my car. Stay warm and watch for black ice.
You Sir are the Bob Ross of VanLife !
Cheers From Montreal .
Whenever I see a U-Haul van I think of you. You did an amazing job on your buildout.👍🏻

Go to Pahrump, Nevada when you change your residency, it's so easy there and nice folks......
That snow was awesome. Always fun to watch clearing off the solar panels.

I miss St George! It is so beautiful there. Thanks for sharing this one!
Welcome to my hometown Saint George where everything is super expensive. Great video. 👍
Nice trip. I remember leaving my cabin in Marysvale Ut, and hitting a blizzard on l-70 West, but by the time l hit St George, it was 70* Same state, but 2 different climates.
Another nice chilled out video. Always good company. Safe driving.
You are rolling past my favorite campground in the country in Kanaraville called Red Ledge Rv Park. Such a beautiful part of the country.
Always an enjoyable ride with you, Brian.
Beautiful. Just what I needed on this VERY snowy Michigan day!!
I've been following you since your 1st South dakota video when you were in the Black Hills.
No thrills
No frills
No drama!
Just the way I like it.
If you're ever in Meadview AZ, I have a little place there too.

I love Utah
Thanks Brian!!
I'm not a fan of having to drive in the snow either. Glad you made it out of that safely. Day moon view was stunning. ✌️💚
Great video. Beautiful sunshine 🌞 ☀️ 💛 ✨️ 💖 💜 🌞
My knuckles are white, just watching that drive. I’m really curious about the Nevada residency, looking forward to that info. ✌️❤️🚐

Thank you. I do believe I have visited Fremont, I'll have to check my old videos.
Happy Holidays✌🏼
Less is more brother. Good for you on the health care and personal stuff cleanout. You did dodge a huge storm over Vail Pass that week. Great video

Some of us like the solitude.
I feel like public land is my off grid property😋
@ There you go. And I think you’re like me enough to not even want to park in just one spot for more than a few months at most.
You are wise to plan ahead. Good luck!
Thank you for another great video. Do you still play the indian flute and your guitar. Are you still carving spoons? Safe travels.
Thank you. Yes, I do all of those things still. Backed off on the carving a bit as I have some arthritis in my hands.
Take care✌🏼
My daughter goes to the University in St George and works weekends at Sand Hollow. Beautiful area for sure.
Really enjoyed your video, it's been cold here northeastern Arizona,

Nothing wrong with some cool weather. Especially when it’s warm in the day.
Looks like he's finding his happy place again😊

Your ability to slow down and chill out is a real gift. Was this something you had to work on, or is it natural to you?
Whew- you made it! Enjoy the sunshine!
You are THE MAN BRIAN!!
Another nice video , thank you for sharing.
Thank you.
I think one of those cubic mini wood stoves would be great in your van.
We like Bumper seasons too. We're in colder weather as well, and our boondocking has been soooo quiet!!! Safe travels.
What a beautiful state.
A little bit of snow is beautiful. ❄❄
The icy snowy road made me cringe and I'm not driving anything but this recliner. 😁👍
❤
Such beautiful scenery. Thanks, Brian.
Hey Brian.....try some CRYSTAL hot sauce....it's better and hotter than Texas Pete. Fyi
Be safe & GOD bless !!!!

thanks for the adventures.
Yes, please do a video for NV residency as I am also planning to do it in Pahrump, NV very soon so I can learn from you as well. Thank you.
Always happy to see ya uploadin!
