you probably dont give a shit but does any of you know a way to get back into an instagram account? I somehow lost my password. I love any tricks you can give me.
@Tatum Miller i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Sipes are the small slits or grooves cut into the surface of a tire tread. They improve traction by providing additional edges to grip wet or icy surfaces and help channel away water to reduce hydroplaning
After a moderate amount of research, this is where I am with tires for my 2022 SS 1LE. Best DD tire is the PS4S. Way better rain grip with only slight reduction in dry / high performance grip from OEM with much better wear. If you never drive it in the rain, then the OEM tires are MORE than adequate. If I wanted to get a more track oriented tire (on a second set of dedicated wheels) than the stock Goodyears I'd probably go with the Goodyear F1 Supercar 3Rs or eventually some full slick setup. The Goodyears from the Zl1 1LE where at least developed for A Camaro, ie a bit heavier car than most of the cars a Cup 2 would go on. Don't think anyone will be sad with either the Cup2rs or the F1S3Rs on the track. And full slick cause racecar.
Honestly a well thought out comment I can agree with… I’ve never had a more corner confidence boosting tire FOR THE MONEY… instead of the 3Rs I would just jump straight to the cup 2s… I’ve also heard the NT001s are a excellent choice also. It’s a personal thing I believe
They are sticky and awesome for the money!!! only pitfall is the wear faster and dont grab under 60 degrees...all said I can't recommend them enough!!!
I thought sipes were more the micro slits cut into the tire where there's really no gap, but open a little to grab things like snow better. Didn't think they were big enough to actually channel water. I'm probably wrong though lol
No, sypes are just the void/groove in the tire cap that give it the tread pattern…but sypes do shed/channel water and do get clogged with mud/snow or whatever but it’s the inertia that flips the medium out and cleans the tire
I’m close to replacing the tires on my 1LE. I’m leaning towards the Michelin SS 4S. They are more expensive then the OEM Goodyear’s, but I’ve only gotten 12k miles from the Goodyears. I don’t track my car so the longer life of the Michelin is enticing.
Michelin SS 4S only offers run flats on the rear(305) and for the fronts(285) has run flats and non-run flats. Researching now to see which option is best for Camaro SS 1LE tire wise.
Hello love your content. My question is; with my 18 1 LE Package I'm on 275/30zr 20. I'm like you I like my tires to match. But I'm worried about rock damage alone the side of my car. Do you face that problem with your 285's?
I still run the super car G2's on my 14 1LE. I get them for $250 a tire through my wife who works at a dealership. Those tires suck when cold but really hook up when warm. I get 10,000 out of the back and 15,000 out of the fronts.
chargerfan2 I would love to get a discount on tires... you’re right about them sucking in the cold seems to be about 50 degrees seems to be the crossover. But I’m definitely switching to cup 2’s after I put a cage in the backseat
What tire would you recommend for daily ? I daily drive my 2022 ss 1le and I'm like 8000 miles in they still look okay but will need some soon and summer coming up but haven't made my mind in which one? Also since it's my first super car and have a heavy foot sometimes haha
@@209benji if it were me, I would get the goody out of the fronts and just buy the rears with the intention to buy the front when the SC3 where out if the tread pattern difference doesn’t bother you
It was nice to see your review. I've got a '19 1LE and I've been debating between replacing the F1s with either the same, or the Michelin PS4S or PS Cup 2. I got 9500 out of the F1s driving casually on weekends, and Autocross about 15 times a summer. (I live in Wyoming so our driving season is only May - October).
What’s the price for front and back ? Owner of a 2019 red hot 1SS 1lE. Got the super car 3 tires also. How many miles can you put on them ? Good video.
The two on the back including mounting/balancing/disposal was $774 and change.... but I just missed the the boat because tire rack just had a sale on them for about $250 ea!!! I appreciate the feedback!!!
Marc Antony I typically get about 4 track days on a set Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires on my 2017 SS1LE depending on the condition of the track surface (a little more at Barber Motorsports Park with the recent resurfacing). With me it's a matter of track days not miles. I am not sure that these are the best street tires (I don't recommend driving in the rain with these) but they are great on the track when warmed up. I do daily drive it in dry conditions.
Marc Antony.... you can put maybe 10,000 to 15,000 miles on them depending on driving habits... the wear bars come fast lol. I paid about $310 for each tear and the fronts are about $290 each plus mount and balance... red hot is a nice color on these cars!!
Hello , So I bough a set of tires that are 245/50/20 . Front did not fit only backs . Since the fronts would hit the suspension strut . Do you know what is the max height for the camaro? Other than 245/40/20 for fronts . Which are 27.72. What is the max height?
I’ll save everybody 11 minutes and 52 seconds of this guy blabbing on about tires the Goodyear eagle tires come factory on the Camaro SS one LE are summer only they are not suitable for anything below 50°. They are downright dangerous in the rain and you can’t go in the snow at all. They also kick up a lot of rocks and will dent and scratch your car faster than anything else. What do you want to do is get yourself a set of ultra high performance all season tires. There are only two brands you should consider. Continental extreme contact 6 Plus (better of the two) and there’s Michelin pilot sport fours however they are much more expensive and in my opinion not quite as smooth. And they were faster. You’re welcome.
But but ☝🏻…. The supercar 3 was specifically made for the 6th gen camaro 1LE/ZL1… I’m still holding that supercar 3 holds better in the corners and does it for less money 💰
Honestly this video could’ve been about 3hrs!!! Thank you for all your support... please don’t forget to subscribe!!!

3R better track only tire than Cup 2 and cost less money I have used both on 3 track cars for 7 years
just bought these for my ss getting rid of the nitto nt05. noisy tire. Hopefully these are better

My track alignment is 2 1/2° if I’m on asphalt and 3 1/2° if I’m racing on cement

I just picked up some Nitto NT555 G2’s and the grip is less but it’s a amazing daily tire

@@Shakemoose thx. I posted that over a year ago. I ended up getting Michelin PS4’s.

Michelin makes a ps4s I believe is pretty good but these nittos I had were awesome NT555G2 ruclips.net/video/dnh0l3j9TEE/видео.html

@@The_Drive_Inside That day is here, made for the C8 I believe, The Michelin A/S Pilot Sport 4s are now on my 20 2SS 1LE and I love em.
Are they bad in the rain with normal/slow driving or bad in the rain when driving fast?
Good question! I’d say 45 mph+

Is it the OEM wheel? What year and model of camaro.... 10mm of height should fit I would think
2:36 Sipes do not run around the circumference of the tire as you pointed out
adjusts sunglasses 974 times in one video.
I remember that day it was blowtorch hot... they kept sliding down
I am interested in the Supercar 3s..
What sort of life could I expect out of this tire?
I stretched them out to 10,000 miles one time.. But I would say right about 7,500 miles ish. Their terrifying in the rain other than that a great tire
im at 10k on mine almost nothing left in the rain you are dodging death
How much tire pressure u running
32-35 psi typically
