3bd +office in Lowry 4500$, same house in Highlands ranch 3600$, Englewood 3500-4000$... 2bd 2bth apartment, the modest ones in a save areas are starting at around 2K... Same apartment in downtown, cherry creek at around 3-4K... I am confused... Also, the quality of real estate makes me cry everytime I think about it. As one of my friends stated, lots of mid century wet dreams, and tiny bungalows, where the room, which is listed as a bedroom, doesn't fit even a twin bed, maybe a crib, and a chair...

There is no rhyme or reason to it some times, no doubt about it. Some homes and apartments go for far more than you would expect, buying or renting, and others can be had for a relative bargain. It’s crazy!

The cost of housing in the Denver metro area is out of control. The entire Denver Metro area is expensive. A small 750-square-foot home by Lakeside was sold for $650,000 last month. But it is still affordable to live in the northern suburbs. The houses in Thorton, Northglenn, and Aurora are a lot cheaper than the homes in Denver. The cost of living in the Denver Metro area exploded after COVID.

No denying that - Denver has become a high cost city compared to most, no doubt about it. I appreciate you watching and for your perspective!

I'm from the Austin area and living downtown here is gonna cost you minimum $2.5k even for a studio. The property taxes are KILLER here. Looking at downtown living in Denver is way more doable especially considering the average pay is higher than here in Austin.

Thank you so much for watching and that perspective! It’s interesting hearing about experiences in Austin and Nashville because those seem to be the two cities I hear the most about in comparison to Denver.

Im coming from Portland area. Gas is almost $1 cheaper, income tax rate is half as much in Colorado, Rent roughly the same. I'll get atleast a $1 pay raise at my job(Safeway). Pre-pandemic I was paying 1835 for a 2 bedroom duplex with 4 people. Now I'm a vanlifer to eacape rent entirely during the pandemic.

I recently moved to West Palm Beach, Florida from Las Vegas, and I just feel like the apartments are a lot harder to get into due to how expensive they are and they also ask for you make 3 1/2 times the rent and as a 22-year-old with a child it’s very difficult they also have no hills and no snow which is why I am looking forward to possibly moving to Denver. Thank you for your educational video it’s really helping.
