I love the electric, I truly appreciate your love for nature, I started with the talaria and have moved on to the Nicot full size. Awesome to see more people getting into electric bikes!
The Dunlop MX33's are absolutely great in the mud and intermediate terrain. They wear relatively quickly, but I was able to get one full session on a fresh set. They will likely wear quicker on more hard pack terrain.
Getting back into bikes and i really would like to try this. Dad rides a crf450, hes 63 so his track days are slowing down. Brother rides a kx250f and hes still pretty fast. I would consider myself an aggressive intermediate rider, planning to do 60+ foot jumps. With a suspension upgrade will this bike do the trick?
I would say probably not the best use case for this bike. It could probably have enough power for that kind of riding, but it doesn’t have enough range for wide open motocross type riding. I would look at the stark varg for moto type riding. The KTM freeride excels in technical trail riding
Hi, nice to see one more freeride owner ! I have one, i am very happy too, i use it often in motocros tracks just for learning, yes suspension is too soft, i dont do big jumps, but in corners it’s perfect. Can you share source of info that ktm is planing 5.5kw power pack? I realy hope it’s true,i would order it without thinking. Because drive range is most anoying thing. What is your plan for updates? Keep making videos !
I agree, range is the most annoying thing. So far my only update was to change the tires to mx33 front and rear and place nitro mouse front and rear to replace the tubes. www.motorcycle.com/new-model-preview/pierer-mobility-confirms-a-ktm-e-duke-is-in-development.html?amp This link talks about a new freeride variant the “Freeride E LV with a 5.5kwh removable battery”
@@brock1732 Let’s hope that this battery will fit to our freerides. Also please make videos of your customization, my plan now is customize suspension.
The individual cells in the current battery could be changed to ones that have 30% more capacity. This alone would put the capacity in around 5.1kWh with more or less the same weight. Hopefully if there's an upgrade, the form factor stays the same but with upgraded cells. I wonder why no one has made an aftermarket battery yet for the e-xc.
I was lucky enough to get it before the price increase by KTM. Problem with the stark varg is that they still haven’t delivered a product and no one knows if the company will last. KTM isn’t going anywhere and have been delivering electric bikes for years now

Thank you for the kind words!
I have been looking to change the tires out. I will check out the one's you chose

Curious where you are riding, looks fun, maybe TN?
4 speed trans would double its range @ high speed

@@vnrkk How can u increase the capacity? U have to buy a kit or something?
I wish you mute the engine sound a bit. Its hard to hear you speaking.
Thank you for the feedback! I’m looking for a Bluetooth mic to help with that in the future
Thing cost almost as much as a stark Varg
